  • I'm only holding off as I've just been paid so am making a few more payments in December then I'll add a few £K to the total :D

  • So far this year I've paid off £4,517.11 which brings our total to:

    £489,049.05
    Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24

  • This year I paid off about £4,500 and became debt-free for the first time in about seven years. Phew!!!!

    so I make the total £493549.05
    Retired in 2015.
    Moved to Ireland September 2017

    Edited to add: In fact, I've just worked it out "properly" and I paid off £8,603.19 which makes us a new total of...

    £502,152.24!!!
