Thanks for the reports pleasedelete, you're certainly getting about a bit!
I'm busy over the next few Saturday's so will probably be trying the Car Boot at Scorton next Sunday. k.

    Did you go to Scorton?

I went to Wetherby this Sunday. Mixed weather- torrential downpour at 12 noon.£9 any vehicle. Any goods but food. The biggest amount of space of any boot I have been to ( well they will give you as much as you want at bedale but you sometimes have to ask). At Wetherby the guys lining you up at the car boot just gave each car masses of room.

Mix of sellers. I liked it. Friendly and not pushy. Buyers have to pay extra to get in before 8. So loads of time to set up (I got there at 6.30) and have a bit of a wander.

Took £170 and would have done a bit more if it hadnt rained. Steady - will go again. Made me think that rufforth car boot last week was a real rip off .

We didn't do Scorton, couldn't face the very early start as we'd had a very busy Saturday.

We decided to try the one at Darlington Football Club. Wasn't huge but had a decent few hours and we didn't have to travel far to get home!
