If she is sensing this, or you have said it to her, or she has read the comment someplace, it might explain a great deal of her sudden animosity.
I'm with the others on this thread who have advised you to bend over backwards to keep things between you pleasant. It may be hard, I understand that, but it will be a lot more painful for all concerned if you lose your temper and blurt something like this comment out at the wrong moment. Good luck.0
