When you park as far away from the tescos entrance as you can so you can check every trolley park and hedge row for womble clubcard points.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: 'Womble clubcard points'. I log on in teh back room of the shop and customers thought I was going mad, hearing my mad cackling from the storeroom.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Current Pay Off Target : £1500
  • When you live near a Sainsbury's Local that reduces really decent stuff to 10p at the end of the day, and it becomes a regular competition between you and another Mad Maverick MoneySaving Maniac who lives in the same neighbourhood...

When you drive at 56ish mph on the motorway/dual carriageway because it uses less petrol so the 40p a mile you get on expenses is more profitable (and its works time you are wasting)

NB this needs to be done with a bit of common sense for safety reasons but lorries often do a similar speed due to their limiters so the slow lane is often running at that speed anyway!

Your kids ask if you will swap 2 pound coins for the 2 pound coin they have.

You don't replace the light in the fridge because its saving money whenever you open the door.:o

You find you have developed a compulsive disorder to collect firewood from any source, you chop up the palllets at work, you cant go for a walk in the country without loading the boot with branches, sticks, and even twigs (thatll be good for kindling).

You find yourself on MSE so much you start replying to posts that dont involve actually saving money, just taking the mick out of yourself. Argh
