Bit of fun.... you know you're a truly sad MSE when....

People ask you why you're grinning when you arrive at work and you realise it's because of the 2p you just found outside.....

Anyone else?

When you wont buy ANYTHING without checking quidco, hotdeals, shopbots, and even then post a question asking if anyone can get it cheaper, and when anyone wants to buy something you annoyingly suggest how they could get it cheaper.
  • when you drive almost 5 miles out of your way to the next town to save approx £2.50 to fill up with petrol, rather than use the garage you pass every day???

Or when you are in the supermarket and find yourself tutting over the price of a bottle of toilet cleaner, knowing cheap coke will do a better job LOL (like I did on sunday OMG I'm sad!)

When you suddenly become an expert on football fixtures (or ice hockey or anything else...) despite never having watched a single match and having no interest in who wins or you start saying things like "I don't care who wins as long as there are less than 3 goals scored"!

That's matched betting for you :rotfl:

My mum goes to Sainsburys everyday at closing time to buy the reduced goods (under the guise of excercise ofcourse)

When you go into a takeaway with your mates and buy a coke bottle between you rather than cans.

When your 23 years old and you don't mind a good handout of clothes from unlces, cousins, friends

When its your sisters wedding and you borrow the suit from your mate (I had to draw the line at this one though, ended up buying my own)

When you push your mate almost into the road because there was 10 pence under just where he was walking (What was MY 10p doing under his feet  - we shared it though lol)

Lighting candles at home and convincing everyone that 'it's much more soothing this way' when really I wanted to cut carbon emissions -or was it to save on the leccy, since I was selected to pay that bill

when you refuse to ring people on other networs to you.
