Today I had exactly the same problem with you! Did you find out a way to make it work?
I'll tell you my experience and maybe you are in the same situation as me.
I was downloading and saving the file on my drive through firefox and I had the same message that the the folder couldn't be created (although actually was there). I tried the same with explorer, I was asked to run the .exe without saving and I accepted. Like this it worked fine and the coupon printer is now installed! I went back to firefox and it looks that I can print coupons.
BUT, my problem is that I don't have a physical printer installed in my laptop. I was hoping to print them in pdf files, but it seems that I cannot. Maybe the problem with firefox was that the program could see that I don't have a physical printer installed. Do you have one?
by the way I have win xp 320 -
I'm running Win 7 64bit and am having the same issue, just can't get it to work.0

I have a printer installed and working so it's not a problem with that.
Tomorrow I will try running directly from IE and see if that works.
Have downloaded and saved from Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer.
I am about ready to give up:j First mini munchkin due 05/04/2013 :j0 -
Did anyone ever have any luck getting this to work?
I've tried running from IE but no luck0 -
Some of the sites have an " I don't have a printer button " click that and you can put your address in and get the coupon0

I did get it working kind of I think I told it to run from IE rather than saving to PC. I only use this PC when I want an extra set of coupons, so not used it for a while. But it still seems temperamental and will only work in IE.
Good luck, hope you get it sorted.:j First mini munchkin due 05/04/2013 :j0 -
I couldn't get it to work either on Win 7 x64, it seems I get the same error message 'Setup can not create folder:' although the folder seems to be created, have tried everything that you have, disable AV, Admin Mode, delete folder and reboot, safe mode and nothing seems to work.
Has anyone else got any ideas? Seems there isn't much of a tech support email for Coupon Star either.0 -
I know this is an old thread, but I had the exact same problem today and was able to find a fix.
The error message "Setup cannot create the following folder" appears if you are trying to install the coupon printer on Windows 7 x64.
Solution is to download the program from here: http://www.coupons.com/couponweb/help/print/install.html
This is the same program in its pure form. The ones found on other sites sometimes install shortcut links inside the Start Menu and store files in the Program Files.
This version is the most up to date and installs nicely. It also adds itself to the uninstall list for easy removal.
Hope this helps someone.-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
