No, he locked it so that the FT could look at it before it degenerated further. And they clearly DID agree as they removed posts and issued a warning before re-openingOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

I stand corrected

"CUSTOMER NOTICE - DRIVING INTO THE PETROL PUMP MAY CAUSE DAMAGE FOR WHICH WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE*
*unless you have 26 years of accident free driving, in which case we whole heartedly apologise and will of course compensate you for your burst tyre, in fact, why not sue us for whiplash injuries at the same time?"
That's what I think the sign should say! Hang on a minute................I've seen this somewhere before.....
EDIT: This is a joke. My genuine advice to the OP is that they would be best served taking independent legal advice on the situation to see if a precedent has been set previously. This seems likely as they have a "specific complaint form" - I hope you were not injured and wish you luck."We can all fly as high as the dreams we dare to live...........unless we are a chicken" ~ Anon.0 -
its not hard to look up someones posts when they only have 8!
of course you dont have a case, but if you did, id certainly sue you for wasting 20 seconds of my life.Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000

So you're at fault.hamiltonsarah wrote:I have driven for 26 years with out an accident so please do not make judgements about my driving.
See above. You drove into a stationary object and then tried to blame Tesco for your inability to avoid it.
And from the OP:hamiltonsarah wrote:it was my fault for being a rubbish driver basically!!
Answered your own question I'd say!
Sorry but all I see is Tesco adding your complaint to a staffroom board entitled "Funniest claims of 2011".0 -
Seems strange that at least 8 posters have had their post removed, all for offering advice the OP may not wish to hear.
Even stranger, when one poster reported a similar concern to OP - driving into a stationary wall causing caving in of bonnet from the rubble, also had their post removed.:think:0 -
