ajmoney-getting married in 12 days? Wow how exciting! I will happily volunteer to throw things at you to keep you on it lol, for the good of next week you understand!
Right, I've managed to make a little dent in my jobs, but it's all half finished tasks, as I could only do quiet things in the early hours when my little one was up, she eventually gave in about 3.30am, bleurgh, the downside being she's only been up for about 10 minutes, so have I actually, as she's my mini alarm clock lol which is quite typical she gives me a lie in on the morning I wanted to get up and get as much done as possible early. According to my thermometer it's 24 degrees already!
I'm off to grab a coffee and wash my hair quickly, happy flying everyone!0 -
Morning all,
I'm in again this week. I'm not aiming for anything in particular though as I know it's going to be a busy week. I MUST get my paper ready for collection on Friday though - that will be a huge help as we were away for the last collection so have been accumulating more paper since March
Pigpen - I hope you feel a little better this morning, look after yourself x
Goodintentions - Sorry to hear about your Uncle, take care. My thoughts are with you. Congrats to your DD.
Triker - How old is your DD? I suffered really badly with random nosebleeds from around age 12 to 15 including some in my sleep. Eventually the Dr put it down to a form of hayfever and the antihistamine spray helped me.
ajmoney - Good luck this week with getting your house sorted before the wedding and good luck for the big day. Have you tried a make-up counter makeover instead of a trial?

paulies~~ else where in the world, my dog has a very large plastic bowl filled up with water for him, outside in the shade, and he flops in that, fine when he was a puppy he could get all of him it in, now sort of the middle bit fits, and the legs dangle out side the bowl, sometimes ice cubes are added as well. Could you try something like that?Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

morning all :hello:
Hugs for GoodIntentions very sad news
Nixie and anyone else with a problem with the heat. I learnt how to deal with hot weather in Oz and its pretty much the same as dealing with winter, except now instead of keeping the heat in you want to keep it out. Shut windows and draw curtains while the sun is one that part of the house. Once it's gone off that wall you can open the curtains, but don't open the windows if the air outside is hot, you are just letting hot air in. If you have a fan, put a bowl of ice or some ice bricks infront of it, so the air blows over the cold surface. In outback part of Oz they sometimes put a wet sack up at the door or window and air passing through that, will cool down. Hope that makes senseI have an old duvet stuffed up at the window that gets the sun nearly all day and the room is nice and cool :T

Hiya, she's 14, would make sense really, will try the antihistamine idea, thanks.
Right got all my online banking stuff together and I know that we're told not to but I'm going to write it down because I forget and get in a right muddle, plus when I'm really foggy headed with the Lyme I can't remember anything.
Don't worry though, it will be in code so only I know what it means.
Anyone else do this?
Piggers, I'm not quite sure what to say about your OH and the woman on the internet...either he's incredibly niave or just not bothered how this must affect you...I can only think that because he's not hiding what he's doing, then there is nothing to worry about other than the fact you have a baby, another on the way together and all attention should really be devoted to that at the mo.DFW Nerd 267. I think the only reason I haven't had a yell about it is because he isn't hiding that he is talking to her.. though I'm not allowed to see what they are talking about.
I know I am being incredibly sensitive about everything at the moment which is very unlike me and I don't think it will make any difference if I say to him it is upsetting me or whatever I think that would just make him be sneaky about it.. it isn't like he can have secret rendezvous's as she lives in Sweden! ..
I think he might just be being an idiot .. incurring the wrath of a highly strung hormonal pregnant woman is not condusive to a longlife!
He is being banished to gardening duty today so that should cut down the correspondence
I write everything down too.. and not in code or I have no idea what it is meant to represent.. I'm just scatty!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
