    Mmorning all.

Have done another hour of ironing this morning. WM just about to finish, so will hang that out in a mo. DW just gone on post breakfast. DH and DS2 still snoring in bed:cool:

Today I'd like to get another hour or so of ironing done, DS2's floor re-tidied!!, the patio re-swept and toys in lounge and playroom sorted. Oh - and some finance paperwork for the accountant! :D ANd the joys of Sainsbugs, STrsco and maybe Ald!...

Looks like being a scorchio day here, so think DS2 & DS3 can have the paddling pool out - we put one of the slides to stop in there too - they think it's great fun!:D

DH has gone on another tip run, I've hoovered the bathroom, landing and top few stairs so I can take the hoover downstairs to hoover the conservatory. Things are going well so hopefully I won't have to completely gut the house in the 6 week's hol.

Question for you - I have a big electric Carl Lewis treadmill in the conservatory which we are going to get rid of but I'm wondering whether to leave it until after the 6 week's hol in the hope that I might get chance to use it then or get rid now as it takes up a large chunk of space? Also do I stick it on ebay or freecycle or possibly in the paper? It would need to be collected in a van it won't fit in a car.

Morning all, lovely sunny day but I haven't got enough washing for a load. That's just not right!

I've prepared everything for lunch, DD2 is coming over. I've cleaned the kitchen, polished in the living room and the computer desk, and vacuumed right through downstairs.

Just heard lots of whistling and when I looked out there are loads of swifts/swallows flying about, there must be lots of insects up there today in this warm weather.

Glad your street party went so well Dusty, I bet it was a lot of hard work.

Morning everyone, major efforts in the garden yesterday mean that the green waste bin is full to the brim and the place looks a lot better. Looks like the wisteria is going to have a second flush :)

We are trying to get the bathroom painted and finished today - it has been in limbo for months. A mix of white woodwash on the panelling, and F&B blue green for a feature wall. It will be lovely after four years of avacado and worlds worst green tiles.
How did you deal with the 'worlds worst green tiles'?

(does anyone remember those white tiles with a random colour pattern that sort of looked like a baby chicken?)

    no it isn't..

    teaspoon is 5ml/5g
    dessert spoon is 10ml/10g
and a table spoon is 15ml/15g

It says so on my measuring scoops!
