My back is killing, I can't stand up straight. I think it's protesting against going back to work on Monday after 9 months of maternity leave. :(

Pleased to report that I found some DW cleaner in Sainsburys at £1.30.

Garden is looking so much nicer it is weeded and swept and the empty pots binned or put away. We filled a wheelie bin just with tat that was lying about, broken pots and toys etc..
    BBQ scrubbed
    grass fed

I have to go bring in Squeaks toys and move the BBQ and put its tent up so it stays reasonably clean and reshuffle the tables... which will be scrubbed too.

    Kitchen is swept
    recycling and composting out
    bins emptied and scrubbed out
    TD filter cleaned
bins emptied in loo and bathroom
    sink scrubbed
empty pots and hose put in shed

I am hooping to get DD2's second curtain sewn tonight and they can go up and the sewing machine can go away and I will have reclaimed some space in the living room. I need the ebayer to come collect the red car seat too.. that'll be a bit more room!

I don't want to move now I have sat down lol

vanilla hope the little thug gets sorted out by the police - and I am sorry to hear that DH has been off his meds - I hope they have caught it in time - one of the last times you had problems with him was when his foks were away on holiday - is there a connection do you think? You will need to stick Rhys in the garden and watch from inside to see where he goes the wee rascal!

He wanted to get a job but it said he had to be off meds for 3 years. I did tell him to speak to the doctor first but he decided to go on ahead. He say's he's felt funny the last few days and told me he had been off all. So i've dosed him back up again and he's sleeping. I expect he'll be like this for a few days and hopefully it won't turn into a relapse. :(

Rhys the little monkey has been following the dog through part of the hedge, it's now been covered up. :rotfl:

Right i think movie time for me, a real chick flick if i can find one. :D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

  • Minion sauntered in at 3pm after her day out with friends. So asked if she wanted to go to PAH.

    'Are there animals there?'

    Yep

    'OK then!'

Persuaded ourselves (with great effort) that a pair of rabbits and a luxury hutch wasn't the best use of our food budget for the next month. Whatever happened to the days when animals were 'free to good homes'? Never paid good money for a pet in my life. And certainly not 35 quid for something that can replicate itself that quickly and prolifically.

Got Feliway & Frontline (I know they are cheaper online, but I need to get out and about sometimes) and got stung for £15 of radio controlled mouse and squeaking mouse in a plastic ball. One splat went insane trying to get the mouse out of the ball :D and another went potty chasing the radio controlled mouse. Overall, quite a result for toys. Oh, and the other one is unconscious underneath where the Feliway is plugged in.

Then went into Homebase and Minion has chosen Elephants' Breath (F&B) for the bathroom wall and Laura Ashley Raspberry for the bath panel. We brought back some testers so we can see how they look before buying the full size pots. I think we agreed on a mossy green for the landing, but with the height of that, it isn't going to happen for a long time yet. She also wants to have a glossy aubergine and black granite kitchen when she has her own house, but that's OK as she has promised that she and her husband will buy a place with a cottage at the end of the garden so I can live there and look after their two children. :)

Vacuumed all downstairs, emptied bins, mucked out Morris and the Munchers and pruned and replanted their weeds.

  • Just seen Squeak's piccie - I had days where I left the room to feed the dog and came back in to Minion in a similar state with yoghurts.

A 'ohmigoshwhatdoyoulooklike' moment, if I have ever seen one!
