Seafarer's wife ... Make sure you make up with OH before he goes. He may be grumpy because he's going away and will miss you.

First two hours of the day wasted by migraine :( so need to get on. I'm hoping it was just the paint fumes that caused it and I won't have a repeat.

DD off post 16s are in though so DS is gone. Am expecting my boiler service - should be here before 10am. 2 lots of washing on line. I don't want to do any more just now becaue the boiler's on the wall above the WM

I could do with picking the last of the blackcurrants too...

I run round like a mad thing filling the BLACK bin (every other Wednesday) but don't fuss about the green bin (cardboard and garden waste) so much.

I am flying but not following the list today.

This week I have had the WM on at least 10 loads a day and have about 4 more today until I am finished. Then every duvet and pillow in the house will be clean.

DS2 went off to Turkey for a month so yesterday I emptied all the rubbish and outgrown clothes from his room.

Today I plan to sort DS3's room which is not so bad. He is tidier maybe because he has to keep his room tidy at sea?

DK I thought of you at the wedding we attended last week as the reading was from 'Gift from the Sea' :)

greenbee I hope it isn't a full blown migraine and you are feeling better soon.

pigpen My DH isn't allowed a mobile phone any more as he started using it for texting 'another' all the time. I took his away in 2004!! He doesn't use internet either as he has an addictive personality. Know how it feels though... Maybe time your OH got a fluufy mule chucked at him.

seafarerswife Hugs for you. I agree with greenbee. Having lived in a household of seafarers I remember the last minute rows etc. It is a stressful time for both of you. Make the most of your time together. No flying. Am I allowed to say that?
