    Valli is definitely channelling DUSTYKITTEN

    came home from work
went to shop for food for tea (because I am SO organised)
    cooked tea (bangers'n'mash - DD's choice)
went out into garden sometime before 7pm (Mike Harding was on R2) mowed/strimmed/weeded/slashed - green bin filled
    came in - 9:30
Washed hands filled bowl with washing up washed Valli (shower number 2)
    came down washed up

    *and breathe*

Missus AKA - I have been in an abusive relationship - what terrifies me about what you posted was that it's not even supposed to be a relationship. Even if all you get out with is your son and your dignity that's waht matters. So get out (would be better if they locked psychoBiL up but hey)

Triker's advice is brilliant - please please follow it. If he is doing weed it won't help (leads to paranoia - which is what you describe). YOU matter and the little man in your life matters so put him/you first and get rid of the junkie...

DS has dumped his lovely GF - I'm really sad...

Right, sorry to have to say this but you are being too reasonable and too soft.

I'm not normally this blunt but you have a responsibility to protect your son here, never mind that bluddy defenceless kitten he threatened to kill...if you don't and when something else does happen, you will be held responsible for failing to protect your child from someone who is clearly deranged, psychotic, manipulative and very, very dangerous.

Missus I agree with Triker's advice, please call the police for the sake of your son. The only way to get out of these situations is to be really brave and get some outside help, no matter how scary it may seem. I really hope you get it sorted.

Because of the strikes I HAVE to work tomorrow :(

    Oh well, can't please everyone.
  • Well, that prizegiving was possibly the most mind numbingly boring one in my whole career as a parent.

DD was awarded a piece of paper for outstanding effort and being a good example. Along with about 5 others from each class in the school, making it more of a roll call for about 100 kids. So we sat through a bunch of girls murdering Your Song 'by Ellie Goulding' (I am sure that Bernie Taupin and Elton John might have something to say about that), and nearly ended up suffering from heat and crush injuries when they didn't think to leave wide enough exits for 500+ parents all trying to get out at once. Oh, and my one chance of a long distance photo of Minion getting her prize ended up being a blurred shot of the numpty in front of me reaching for his mobile phone to have a conversation on it throughout the first three classes' awards.

Couldn't wait to get out of there. And we deserved chips after that ordeal.

Cleaned the fishies' pit and did a 20% water change (plus all additives). The reaction of the stuff with their mess meant that it looked as though they were staging a reenactment of John Carpenter's The Fog.

And weirdly enough, that's on TV right now, so I'm watching it (and still jumping when the ghosties do their nastiest work).

One of the splats seems to be losing the thickness in her tail - it's approaching the losing hair stage, but she doesn't have fleas and she isn't losing weight. Hmmm. A v-e-t visit is on the cards for her.

Minion is at home tomorrow, thanks to the strike. She will be cleaning - again.

I'm evil and grumpy. Must be day 21 onwards. [checks personal supplies]

Oh well, it keeps them all on their toes.
