I rang too and got nowhere. Was told I needed an invite. My mum never had an invite but he told me that she must have done. I was offered the price of £60ish for 3 months!

Its all gone completely T*** Up and they are in a real state over all the applications!!!.. Apparently I shouldn't have been told my order was being re-instated and they are now cancelling all orders since the weekend onwards. However, they were sympathetic to my comments and are looking at the whole problem tomorrow.

I did say that I thought the DM was solvent enough to take the relatively small loss (we are only talking about a hundred or so applications - hardly the end of the financial world). Personally I reckon they should stand by the deal for those that got it confirmed - especially as they they made another error by re-instating some of us! Just have to see what they say tomorrow.

For the Nectar promotion they could have got the information from peoples purchases from Sainsbury's or BP garages.

I got sent the offer ages ago but didn't take it up. I have in the past purchased the DM if there was a Free DVD I wanted or coupons/vouchers inside, so some may have shown on my Nectar purchase history.

I assume that Nectar then used this information to target the DM promotion.

I have just noticed a new DD set up on my a/c - what name does this come up as? I ask only because the only other DD I signed up for week last was BBC Magazines and I'd hate to be posting about the wrong one.

Has anyone else noticed a 'new' DD and if so under what name?

Thanks for the heads up - I've just checked my bank account and they set one up for me on 28 June :mad::mad::mad: . They told me they were aware of the problem and cancelled all the orders on Monday. I will be bending their ear again next week.

I've just checked my online account and anmedia is listed twice on my account but no amount to be debited on either line....... Very very weird especially as i too had the cancellation letter yesterday...
