Do not give up!! 3rd time lucky it just goes to show it depends on who you speak to, he agreed it was totally unjustified and removed the ratings immediately.
So, after being told they dont even have the ability to see who leaves the DSR's they actually can remove them with 1 phone call ( or 3!!) there was no way I was going to give up.

Im fuming !! I was just about to get my tsr and a competitor has bought an item of me, and left a 1 or 2 star for pp which was 20p more than actual cost and for dispatch time, it was recorded delivery and signed for the next day ie within about 20 hours from paying.
He left a positive feedback, ebay said it might not be him, as I had 4 feedbacks left that day, surely they can see who has left the dsr's.
Im really cross, I have phoned ebay and all they can do is pass it on to another team, trust safety or something.
AAAAAAAAAAArrrrrrrrrr.
Dont suspose theres anything I can do.
If it was only a couple of days before your review then it wasn't them that affected you (if at all).
On the 20th of June, for example, your review would be for the 3 or 12 months leading up to and including the 31st May - it would not include ANY feedback left in June. The June feedback will affect your review conducted in July.
So unless your suspected user left their feedback before June, you are barking up the wrong tree.0 -

Yes, I phoned them direct, the guy today was really helpful, and totally agreed with me, put me on hold for a minute, then came back and said they have been removed.
I think it may have been because he is a competitor, as they did not ask to see my postage certificate or anything.
So my advice would be to never give up.0 -
How close to your review date (usually around the 20th) did the user you suspect leave their feedback?

Thanks, not too sure this is correct though, he left feedback on the 24th June and the dsr showed up on the 26th June, ebay said it takes 24-48 hrs for the dsrs to be updated.
I was correct in it being a competitor, as his positive feedback has also been removed from my account.

The review definitely only includes previous full months. Go into your seller dashboard and under summary click on 'Performance' - this will show your dialy performance. Now click on the 'Last evaluation' tab - you will then see it says something like...
Evaluation date: 20 Jun, 2011
Evaluation period: 01 Mar, 2011 - 31 May, 20110 -
But have you got your TRS status back?

Your wrong, i'm afraid - after 20th june and up to 30th june - all feedback for june is added INSTANTLY to you ratings (allowing for the update).
Up to 20th June - only to the end of May was added.
Every month there is a period where feedback affects the rating instantly- usually the 20th to the end of the month. Just click on seller dashboard and you will see it includes up to 30th June. You are referiing to the review up to 20th June only.
Glad you got it sorted OP - its only right, if ebays own policies are not to become a joke.0 -
well done, I'm glad that your persistence paid off.0

Yes, I already said I was referring to the June review - which covers all feedback up until 31st May.
Negative feedback received in June is shown straight away on the Daily performance BUT that does not affect your seller rating rating until the next review, i.e at the July review.
In other words if you received bad feedback that affected your TRS status on for example June 24th, you would keep your TRS until the July review at which point your TRS would be removed based on feedback for 1st April - 30th June.Every month there is a period where feedback affects the rating instantly- usually the 20th to the end of the month.0 -
ebay makes it a difficult as it can to make sense of DSRs. Wherever you look it gives different information, nothing matches. What you get looking at the fb page, on you dashboard, and running reports is all calculated differently....
I've never seen a performance monitoring system that has been set up to confuse the very people it's supposed to regulate...0
