Think Spain has nabbed your sun De1amo as it is hotter than normal for June here. Rather interested in the results of your "hair job" DS lost his around 20, now just had it v. short, but none on the top, and he has always said if he every got the money he would have it done.

No problem with the sunshine here-its just that the heat isnt in the sun to the extremes of normal which is good! i talked to two Aussies on the ferry home last night and they thought it was plenty hot enough at 34 degrees but to me that is just 'mild' compared to what i consider real summer temperatures of mid 40s. The day i got married in August 2007 my study's thermonmeter was hovvering about 45 degrees.

The hairjob requires enough roots to 'harvest' from the back and be re-sited on top. They transfered 1600 roots from the back of my head to the top-these roots will never regrow on the back but it is done in such a way that the roots around it will cover up any deficiency.-its a long labour intensive surgery and i dread to think how much it costs elsewhere but like ever turkey is great value for most 'improvements' of this ilk--it cost me 1600 quid and the treatment goes on for 4 months after the op and its all included--i have to go back everyday at the moment to have it looked at and attended to(washed and deeep cleansed) which takes 2 hours.
    mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.

morning all, first day of working week here, quiet weekend with no kids home we will see them all next weekend when we go to Tel aviv.

They said it will be cooler today so only 39 instead of 40/41 that it was for most of last week.........thank goodness for air conditioning.....

Went and saw Bob Dylan in concert last week..mixed feelings about the whole thing, on one hand it was great to be able to see the legend[in my eyes] in person on the other hand there were a lot of technical problems and people behaving badly........also , and I know that people say thats what hes been like for the past 20 years, he didnt say one word to the audience which I thought was a bit off.....no Hello Israel, Shalom Tel aviv ,.......nothing ,nada........go figure.....

JackieO, it sounds like you have a lovely day out planned
Cranky, well done on the weight lose.....

Really enjoying watching Wimbledon here...what a great match yesterday with Djokovic and Baghdatis......

    Have a great sunday everyone......

    Morning all,

Its quite warmish here but plenty of cloud.I am leaving the men to their own devices today (well DS1 at GFs,saw him briefly yesterday on his return from Majorca) as I am going to lunch at an old schoolfriends. There will be about 6 of us ahem ..'girls',so looking forward to that.I've got stuff out of the freezer to heat up for the men.Its hm so that counts as OS!

Feeling a bit tired as we were out Fri and last night-v unusual.Saw DS2s ex gf -her bump is getting big now.She had a 4d scan yesterday, you can see babes face really clearly,DH thinksshe looks like DS did as a baby :) It makes DS feel sad when he sees her though,as she hardly speaks to him ,even tho she's as nice as anything to us :( He's tried lots of things which don't work,he's just hoping she'll come round a bit once DGD is born.Luckily he was surrounded by good friends last night, one came and sat and had a chat with me,said they all know Ds hasnt done anything wrong and they keep an eye on him and try to keep his spirits up,so its good to know he's so well thought of.

    Silvermaid- hugs to you x

Right better go and get ready, have a good day.

I've seen Bob Dylan 3 times now, and he never engages with the audience, but he makes up for it with his singing imo;):D

jealous of your three times candygirl .......and Im not complaining about the singing.I love the sound of his voice now as much as it used to sound....... The people who were disapointed I think were those who were expecting him to sing and sound like he did in his twenties........

lol the silly idiots:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:He is a surly booger though I agree, but I prefer that to the ones who yack on all the time, and can't sing:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Must admit the first time I saw him I thought he was ignorant for not speaking to the crowd, but now i'm used to it ;):D
