In our local Sainsburys (Leigh) they are nowhere near the beers, wines and spirits so worth having a look round or asking.
They also had bottled Belgian beer at 1/2 price too but cant remember the name of it0 -

Leffe Blonde and it is bloody lovely!! Had a glass of it earlier actually. Very strong though 6.6%, definitely not one to drink to excess
Currently £4.99 for 8x 33cl bottles, usually £9.99. Not as cheap as we can get it from Calais, but still a very good price for it.0 -

So I'll just to have to accept that nice beer costs a bit more;

Anyone know if the sainsbury's stuff brewed in the UK (5.2%) or the stuff brewed on the continent (5.1%), which is much better?
hey,
im sat here drinking some stella that was bought in a french supermarket in france and its 5.2%.
i thought stella was 5.2 everywhere.... this stuff deffo isnt brewed in england...0
