Just thought I'd mention that Sainsbury's are currently selling the 8 pack 568ml Stella Artois at £4.99 (1/2 price).

Note that these are the jumbo size cans, and not the regular 440ml, or 500ml cans.......so that's less than £15 for a case of!

Asda are selling 3x20 bottles of stella for £22 also you can choose other's aswell

Anyone know if the sainsbury's stuff brewed in the UK (5.2%) or the stuff brewed on the continent (5.1%), which is much better?

its standerd UK stuff. But goes down a treat knowing its £0.62 a pint!

Very good price, slightly cheaper (per pint) than the Morrisons 40x 440ml cans for £20 offer. I think the Asda 60x 284ml bottles (half a pint) for £22 works out at 72p/pint but I personally prefer bottles, so that's still the offer to beat for me.

It was in the chiller at my Sainsbury's "local" with official advertising, so I'd expect it to be nationwide.

Deffo a nationwide promotion, but it has to be in the ones in the 8 pack ( in a cardboard wrapping thingy!) you can't pick up 2 x 4packs as these are £5.00 each. My sainsbury's had tham on a bottom shelf a bit out of the way for a promotion and the £5.00 ones right iin eyes view
