Hello, long time lurker first time poster.
Im getting married and thinking of a unsecured personal loan of 7.5k-ish to pay for it. I earn circa 28.5k, and have several credit cards, two in use, two with 0% interest balances (no in use as recomende from here). Whats my best option loan or cards?I suspect it'll be 3-5 years on repayments for a loan. And recomendations?

wedding on a credit card.......please tell me you are joking...the world has not yet got that mad ....has it?
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

Then either save up until you do or have a cheaper wedding. Starting married life with thousands of pounds of debt is not a great idea.

Borrowing money is not in any way living within your means.

    Its directly contrary.
