I've saved the Joint account
With the £1500 overdraft being slowly paid off it means the account can finally start to go up instead of down
The most we'd need is a £500 over draft if father has a bad week
Thanks so much DFWsNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Had an odd request from Mint today.
They have asked my father to cut up his card and send them the pieces - is this normal? They also request a letter as to why the account has gone into arrears. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

It's not unheard of. If you read the T&Cs, the card actually belongs to them.
The cutting it up bit is to stop people using it, if it's intercepted in the post."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Surely they've put a stop on the card, so I just cut it and send it to them?
They aren't getting a letter as I've already sent one explaining the situation. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Yep. If you're feeling creative you can cut a Christmas Tree out the middle of it or something. You'll make someone's day...Gemmzie wrote:They aren't getting a letter as I've already sent one explaining the situation.
Do resist the temptation to put a compliment slip in with "I've already sent this - morons!"."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I had a few request their cards back in pieces, but I'd already cut them up and thrown them away. I just told them that and nobody had any problems with it.
I had to send my annual update to my creditors today so I'm feeling a bit crap at the moment as I've had to reduce the payments. One of the creditors is getting 16p less! But I've got to be fair to those who are getting £11 less.
I'll just wait for letters and calls until it's all sorted again.

It works out that way sometimes with the equal payments
Just been reading through your past posts and saw what you said about a reference number. If they say no, I really must do this. I thought you had to use their plans to get a number! ThanksNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130
