Hi Gemmzie
I haven't posted on this thread before but well done on keeping on with it and on top of it. I had a read of your updated SOA, and I was gobsmacked by the cost of your gas (£53) and electric (£94). Those are ginormous bills, so I have to ask why they are so high?

Hi chev, thanks it's nice to know someone's reading!
I don't really know why they are so high. Someone's here 80% of the time I'd say and there's two TV's and a computer on most of the time. But even so it's high! Oh, our boiler might factor in, it's as old as the house, 19 years, and very ineffective but we can't find the 3k for a new oneNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
the boiler in our old house was a total nightmare, our bills were almost that high as well!

Hi doodah, missed your reply due to the outage this weekend.
It's not going so well. Need to find £600 by January, re-do the budget for January and try and hope the creditors accept that we don't have any more money. Gotta seriously think about including mum's debts too which is a nuisance because we've worked so hard to clear them.
Then I did the debt v salary calculation and it's bloody frightening. I don't know if I can keep our heads above water any moreNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Not too great, see the post above yours, we've reached a loggerhead as they sayNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
The DMP debts go down so slowly so I've finally added the secret other debts
These are paid for £85 a month by mum and the rest by me through any way possible!
I'm pretty pleased by how they are coming down. The limit on Egg Money is £1k so I tend to pay chunks off that and then move the overdrafts over a bit and pay them off a bit.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
it's so hard isn't it gemmzie! and really disheartening at times. hope you manage to find the extra £600!31/12/2006 £8395, 01/10/2008 £5089.73, 19/10/2010 £835.00 31/03/2011 £0.00

Finally some good news, I've decided to go full speed attack on the "other debts" and get them cleared by the end of 2008 maximum. I cleared £2.5k of my own in 6 months so it should be quiet do-able, especially if the parents get a KITA to get moving.
So far I have an extra £80 this month, the snowballer says DFD 11/2010  No way!No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Glad to see u have got some good news Gemmzie, you definately deserve it!
