Are you 100% sure that the £150 cashback would apply to the optimus deal? The reason I am wary is that if you go into the quidco site and click on to the tmobile site it shows quidco on that page but the deal for the optimus is not there only deals £25 or more. If you continue from that page and click on monthly deals it will bring up the optimus deal but no longer identifies it with quidco. I am being cautious about this but would prefer to be rather than get knocked back or have to fight it.

Old Gold, it's a bit nerve wracking trying to make sure you get your cash back I know but it shows it for all pay monthly phones. If I were you I'd clear all my cookies, internet history etc then go to Quidco, log in, go to T-Mobile and purchase it. If when the phone arrives it isnt showing as "tracking" in Quidco you can always send it back unopened and cancel your contract :)

What reviews have you read? I'd be interested to see them. On paper the Apollo and LG were pretty much the same, and I too had reservations about the LG mostly regarding build quality but after having mine for a couple of days I'm very happy with it. Root, put a modded 2.3 ROM on it and it's blisteringly fast :)

I can't remember where I read the reviews now as I deleted my History, but I do remember it doesn't have mp3 ringtones, which I was surprised about, and some people said theirs had a problem with freezing.

I 'think' that using an app called ringdroid means you can have anything as a ringtone. Been using the LG for a few days now, seems fine. Performs better than my Motorola Milestone, which was £400 18 months ago!

Only thing is that tracking does not ensure payment. You may not get paid for 3 months or more so by that time you are well into your contract.

    Hi Guys

Has this happened to anyone, I'm a bit concerned about this now, as I've just ordered an Iphone4 on the £150 cashback offer.

    I've had my 1st bill from t-mobile.

Good news: Monthly charge £5.21 inc vat

Bad news - they're charged £4.16 delivery (this is where we need the old rolleyes smilie!)

Will call tomorrow and get it sorted!

We all have to accept thats 3 months is going to be the earliest we get our cash back and Quidco has been a little slow at paying the past couple of years, but as long as your order is showing as being tracked then it should be ok.
So all we can do is wait and see what happens and take it from there and add to this thread when your cashback gets paid.
Whats a good cover for the LG Optimus?

other than risk of fraudulent calls, I would not bother with insurance on a phone like this-

as you have to pay excess, and likely increased renewal premiums
