Wrong name title on Ryanair booking

I've just received my travel itinerary for the flight I have booked with Ryanair. To my horror there is a title Mrs in front of my name Instead of Mr. Their website states, that change of name cost £100. Even knowing that it is probably my mistakeI am obviously ot willing to pay that ammount as I might even get a new ticket cheaper.
Just wanted to as your advice of what should I do? The options I could think of are:

1. To call them and tell them they have made an error, cause if I tell them it was my mistake they are likely going to charge me £100. And it they disagree to launch a complaint, as I still have 2 months before my flight.

2. Do nothing and try to get on the plain with this Mrs title. As there is no title in the passport could I technically give myself any title? Mrs, Miss, Professor, Lord etc. ? Or would they pick on it and decline me to board? I could say for example that's the way I want to be called as I am a transgender etc. Obviously it is a bit a shame for me to call myself a transgender, transexual etc.(No offence to these people, I am just not one of them), but I would rather do this, than pay £100 just for taking the letter S of my title.

I think if you phone them and explain the error they should change it either FOC or for a small fee. My friend accidentally put herself down as nationality 'Afganistan' instead of 'Uk' (thought she'd clicked the box) and they corrected it FOC for her.

I did a change of name too which did cost £100 - in this case I was travelling instead of someone else who had become ill so it was a full change of passenger info rather than an amendment.

Call them and be very apologetic and polite, manners in these circumstances goes a long way.

Just in case, it would also be worth double checking the cost to book a new flight if necessary (though I would guess with all the additional charges it would add up to more than £100)

You've used ryanair and small fee in one sentence....that's a first!

Cancel? Cancel and turn up? Cancel and don't turn up? Don't cancel and don't turn up?

    ...etc.

You've been given your best options... it's your choice.

Have a look at the Trip Advisor Air Travel Forum and put in a search for "Ryan wrong title mr mrs". Sorry I couldn't post the link as this is my first post.
There seems to be no problem according to these people (and also according to Ryan when they telephoned).

Check your booking form befor pressing submit. You made the mistake NOT them

Since you idn't do that you have two options:-

    1. Wing it (and risk getting booted or charged more)

    2. Call them up and risk getting it done for nothing or getting charged

DON'T blame the company for your mistake. Be a Mr and not a Mrs* :)

Hope that gves you a few more suggestions

    (*Apologies to any ladies)
