NO I WOULDNT FEEL GUILTY AT ALL.......
Coupon Mad, for gods sake read my post above about the warden choosing for himself to issue the ticket.......
Or, let me guess, I held a gun to the wardens head and told him that unless he wrote a ticket for the Audi there and then I would blow his brains out......
Grow up please.
These morons know they run a risk of a ticket parking selfishly, dont come whining like a mule to this site when they do......
According to you this particular car-park is properly monitored by the council. This is an entirely different scenario to ones looked after by powerless private companies who have no power to issue or enforce parking tickets. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
I reported to the local council traffic warden, who monitor Long Eaton town centre and Asda car parks, that I had seen a car park in the P&C space, driven by a lone adult.
.
So if the driver got a PCN it was an official council penalty notice the driver would have received?
Which as is would be governed by regulation, could be independently appealed, then I and I think most here would not have a problem with the driver receiving a PCN!
I see trisontana got in first!!!0 -

And that supposed 'Council PCN' would be for what contravention exactly, do we think?! :rotfl:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The only person that appears to be whining and, quite frankly being obnoxious, is you.
People on this thread have put why the PPC business model is immoral, unfair and illegal yet you still moan on - why do you bother posting on a forum whos purpose is to advise and guide people on how to not fall for the illegal tactics of PPCs if you hate reading about it so much ?
Numerous posters have even pointed out that we don't condone selfish parking yet you still bang on.
To top it all you claim that a council patrols an ASDA car park - that makes you look somewhat silly. All aboard the Gus Bus !0 -
I wonder if the council do actually look after the Long Eaton ASDA car-park? I have just had a look at the council's parking website and there is no mention of it on there. The store is located in Midland Street and that particular address is not shown as one of their car-parks.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Perhaps webby has fallen for all that PPC propaganda and believes that anyone in a hi-viz jacket and a peaked cap is a proper traffic warden. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Parking in breach of a landownders terms is not breaking into a house. If it appears someone is breaking in, you first establish the grounds on which you suspect this person to be gaining unauthorised access then you take your suspicions to the police.
If parking in P&C bay without need is against the law - tell the police, not some scam monger who takes the REAL LAW into his own hands.
Rubbish. If you see someone breaking into a house, do you approach to ask them, "is this your house?" All reasonable people would call the police, immediately. But seeing you are very far from being a reasonable person , I can see why you would hang about establishing their credentials. :wall:The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0
