Esso selling petrol door to door?

Just had someone at my door from Esso selling petrol. Unleaded for 140.9p for a liter! Why would I pay extra to have it on my door when I could put it straight in my car for less?

Wouldn't mind betting that you would have had a tank full of coloured water.

It was in a can rather than tank in this case.

LOL, yeah Esso are struggling nowadays so they need to hit the streets with their salesmen!

I hope you don't get one of the "I'm ringing about your computer" calls cos if so they may have found another willing cashcow.

Yeah, think of the petrol you'll save not having to drive to the filling station. :D

Tell him you will only buy it if he turns up in a proper Esso badged 80ft tanker.

Ha Ha, that would be good when he goes away and comes back. "Do you believe me now?" :rotfl:

    Then ask for one gallon.
