I recently made an enquiry with broker4cars as well. Price was about £2,000 less than recommended price. They are asking for a fee, £500 deposit for the car and the rest payable to them. Not sure and would like advice before using them.0

Strange as on their website the text includes "The price of the new cars that are listed also includes one years roadside assistance, one years road fund license, first registration fee and number plates. All your financial transactions will take place with the UK dealership, they will take a deposit normally by credit card, to place your vehicle on order, you will then pay the balance to the dealer on receipt of your vehicle."
And that is how it worked when I used them.0 -
Hi
Has anyone got any update re broker4cars. I am looking at a new Nissan also, and they have asked for a brokers fee and deposit to be paid directly to them, and the remaining balance to be paid once the car is ready.
Any advice?0 -
Ok car brokers make their money by introducing lots and lots of customers. There are some that are good and some not so. Personally would not use drivethedeal but hey just my opinion. Seem to remember them making a big point about never selling pre-reg cars which by the way are good value if you can get one at the right cost. Regina (House of Cars) v Derby Car and Van Contracts. They got a lot of publicity and then changed their mind. At least the other company had the bottle to carry on with what was for all intense and purposes already happening the length and breath of the UK at millions of main dealerships.
If you want a really good deal simply use the online sites as a way of gauging the market. Often the mega discounts you are offered are end of model manufacturer promoted. Then take all your print outs to your local dealership. You may be surprised.
Don't forget that car brokers are not charities and will be making money from the sale or introduction of each customer.Happiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A0 -

Ordered a NEW Hyundai in September 2014 after shopping around dealers and brokers. I sought assurances from the owner of the company, Gary Bains that I was going to receive a brand new, registered as first keeper, vehicle in time for the return of my previously leased vehicle in mid October.
I received verbal and written assurances that it was NOT a pre-registered car and that it would be scheduled for delivery mid October.
Over a month late, the vehicle arrived (meaning I had had to pay for car hire for a month after the return of my leased vehicle).
After many weeks I still had no log book and was told they would chase it up with dealer.
Told it would not come to me for 6 months but the car would be registered to me as first keeper. Log book arrived in late May 2015 and I was not the first keeper. They said they would deal with it directly with DVLA. Three months later I caled DVLA and was told they would NOT register me as first keeper. Currently taking legal action.0
