Just a quick glance at the Horsham CAB link shows it to be hopelessly inaccurate.

"How much will it cost?" is years out of date.

    ...

    I didn't bother reading further.

Shame. If you had you would have seen it was written in 2005 :)

"How long will I be an undischarged bankrupt?" is also completely wrong.

It's a pity that you weren't more explicit in the first place, isn't it? Had I gone bankrupt, I would have kept my mouth shut. Had my spouse been the cause of a bankruptcy, I would have kept my mouth shut.

Haha...perhaps you shouldn't have been so depressingly judgemental in your original post and then there wouldn't have been the need for your (very macho) version of the grovelling apology. Next!

... and so presumably have thesite.org

...If you are made bankrupt, suppliers of electricity, water gas, must treat you as a new customer from the date of the bankruptcy order and they may insist that you have a guarantor for quarterly accounts or pay a security deposit (otherwise you may be refused a quarterly account). They might ask for pre-payment meters to be installed. These conditions will depend on the policies of the individual supply company....

gillypkk, just shows you how inconsistent the Utility Companies are; you have managed to get a credit agreement for supply renewed even tho' you have been declared bankrupt yet others who have posted in the past have been forced into PPMs for just being behind with their Utility bills.
Its a strange old world!!! but good luck to you getting back on track:)
