Sandboxing..

rapport and sandboxie are 2 very different things.
The idea of sandboxie is, if you happen to hit a bad website and get infected, as soon as you close the browser sandboxie will undo all the changes made to the system, so you are no longer infected. Using a sandboxie session to do internet banking won't stop a keylogger if you have one already
Viruses can still leak out of the sandbox if you choose to override the wipe everything on exit option.!!

Absolutely right. But start with a clean machine before installing/running Sandboxie and then keep it clean by making sure your anti-virus is regularly updated, and scanning with say, Malwarebytes or Superantispy. But this is no more than normal whether you have Sandboxie or not.
Sandboxie doesn't stop key-loggers just as it doesn't detect or destroy viruses but it does ensure they stay in the sandbox and not infect your computer.
The potential problem comes if you download a key logger during a Sandboxed browsing session AND then, during the same session, start internet banking.
The way around this is to terminate the current session which deletes everything in the Sandbox and start a new session for your internet banking activity. Immediately after terminate that session and then any nasties in the Sandbox are again cleared.Viruses can still leak out of the sandbox if you choose to override the wipe everything on exit option.
Agree but if someone actively (and recklessly?) chooses to take a piece of malware out of the Sandbox and open it then they can hardly blame Sandboxie. My strategy now, having once actively (and recklessly?) done exactly that very thing, is that where I need to recover something from the Sandbox, I first scan it with Malwarebytes before opening, or if it is a programme, run it Sandboxed first of all.
But hey lets not get too bogged down in fine tuning at this stage because basically Sandboxie is a cracking piece of software which IMHO is simple to use and adds a very welcome extra layer of security to browsing activity.0
