You very lucky girl jakes-mum, your folks are gems, absolute gems, treasure them! Not many sleep left til your holiday now then. :D Don't worry, all will be fine, other folk have problems too, though not always visible.

Ahh ty Sue-UU, im kind of excited as I rarely leave the house so Im a bit 'ooo people, trees, sun!!' :rotfl: but totally worried about travelling, being rough and DH spending the week looking after me, which isnt much of a holiday for him

Yes my parents are wonderful :) I really can't believe how great they are to be honest, my mum just takes on anything she see's I can't do, she takes the kids if im a bit poorly, uses her weekends to shop for me or do my ironing, she goes to all my sons sports days/parents evenings/school plays and even uses her holiday at work so she can take me/kids to medical appointments as DH works shifts and as hes an agency worker doesnt get paid if he's not there.

My dad isnt a big one for emotions but he always shows he cares like coming out 2 weeks ago at 9pm as DH was at work and my blind had fallen down, so he ran out the door and drove over to put it back up. He does so much with DS, he has been paying for him to learn to dive for the last year as his birthday presents and has promised when he does his open water that he can do with grandad on a diving holiday :D.

    Evening folks

I am pooped and will be off to bed once I have finished here. At work for 7am  tomorrow penultimate one before 3 days off starting Monday lets hope the sun is out then. Its been a lovely day to day though Sue ;) best keep my brollie close to hand for the weekend then :(

£1.09 in change for me today and £2 coin for the hols pot from the post office man when I brought some stamps and sent a letter recorded. Made up for the fact that I had to use the two in my purse to get change for parking at the hospital when visiting a friend going for an op on her shoulder :( but she was worth it, she had been there since 7am and very nervous and noone to talk to, so popped out of work to see her, bless. Daylight robbery too £2.70 for up to 2hrs, made sure I got my monies worth though ;)

Jakes-Mum treasure your parents while you have them. My brother is like your dear father, he doesn't say alot but when he does it means everything. As for the other travellers, imagine them naked up the steps with all their wobbly bits and I am sure it will take your mind off the journey ahead. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: 6 more sleeps to go me thinks :j

Well thats all my fellow potters my bed is calling. Have a good day tomorrow whatever your doing :D

    Nite nite x

Hi Potters, another £6 ,,had 2 shiny £2 coins and spotted another in dh change,,he told me to leave it so I swiped it and told him already in my pot haha he doesnt mind really.
Last week of work next week then we both have 2 weks off,but still no clue what we are doing,,kitchen nearly finished, waiting for appliances to be installed and tiles to arrive so they can be fitted next week. We will decide if we are having a staycation or taking tent away somewhere. So tired lately I think I would prefer to have fabulous days out with kids and sleep in my own bed! Thinking of going swimming, walks, beach, museums, bowling and maybe have a couple meals out,,if its raining we can all play cards, games, wii and then watch a dvd. Also want to encourage our youngest 2 to ride their bikes,,still havent managed to teach them.
Overheard a nice conversation in wilkos yesterday, lady on till asking customer if she was the one who won a million on lottery 3 weeks ago,,,yes she said!! Now that would make my pot full!!
    have a geat weekend ;-)

I am sure you will enjoy the break Kirsty whatever you decide to do. ;)

Hi everyone. £2 in the pot for me today. Am waiting for someone to pay me on ebay. Does anyone know how long they are allowed to take? Could be me just being impatient. But I do need the money!
Been raining like crazy here most of the day, so I did an online shop with Mr A. Feeling guilty for paying £3 for the privilege, as that could have gone in my pot. Oh well.....
My daughter still not had her baby! She has even tried caster oil today, yuk!

Don't worry about the del charge mummyof4 cos you could have used petrol money/bus fare/shoe leather - so you might even have saved some :D I tried castor oil by the way (many moons ago now) and hey presto my little bundle of joy arrived less than twelve hours later (could have been a coincidence I really don't know):D Hope all goes well for you all and he/she will only come when they are ready I suppose ;)

What an awful day weatherwise rain and even more rain and thunder and lightening - typical british summery weather. :(

On the bright side found 5p roadkill whilst out shopping this morning (woohoo) - every little helps.:j

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone.

They have 4 days to pay before you can open a dispute, im a bit more laid back and send a reminder invoice on day 4 and then if still no payment 24 hrs later I open a NPB :)

Dont worry about the delivery charge, it prob would have cost you more in fuel to drive to Mr A's and then you have the pain of actually walking round. I always think £3 a bargain for someone else to push my trolley round and it saves me money as I cant visit the reduced aisle or get suckered by the offers they strategically place at the end of the aisles :rotfl:
