I am soo thrilled with my saving in my tin as I said before we never save anything so this is fab. Hoping to double my savings by dec ready for xmas pressies maybe or I may keep it going if I can for a holiday next yr maybe.
Kids are happy to donate coppers to my other tin, no clue how much is in that we cant lift it though, large biccy tin, nearly full of 5ps 2ps 1ps mostly,we are looking forward to tipping it out and counting it when its full!!

    Hi guys
Am on a 'high', been reading 'How I lived on a £1 a day' again and it's really inspired me not to be a typical consumer. I am now all fired up to see if we can live on £4 a day (there are 4 of us)! Obviously my kids won't go without anything, their health and wellbeing is paramount! But I'm sure it will curtail my spending for sure, even if it just makes me stop and think before I buy on impulse! Oh how I love being motivated lol. Maybe I'll be able to feed my pot a little bit more now.
    xx

Been to Sainsburys and had £5.47 in change so thats gone into the jar.

Im hoping that when I open it up in December, there will be enough in it to pay for a break at Center Parcs so will try and pop as much in as possible. *keeping my fingers crossed*
