Could I possibly join in too? I have an Ikea flip lid glass jar which I keep my change in and I normally cash it in every three months, but I could keep it going until December. I would love to have £500 saved by then

Purchased a £10 book token from my daughter (was a school award) so I popped that into the jar. Have added a few more quid on and off as well. I'm looking forward to seeing how much is there on 1st December!

Well took the kids to the library today and ds's friends turned up (sure those 3 are joined at the hip!!) one of ds's friends found 5p and while i was muttering under my breath about him beating me to it he gave it to me as 'he doesnt like change'. So 5p library kill in the pot
