Good morning everyone
Sparky reporting back for duty, we had a brilliant time in Krakow, the place is beautiful and the people are lovely. We had a very humbling visit to Auschwitz/Birkenau, the guide we had Marta was very passionate about the atrocities that happened there. We will definitely be going back for a future visit.
Welcome to our newest members and welcome back some missing members Di-Dough well done on the amazing £850 saved good for you Hun.

Can I join please?
I've already got a pot and for a while was sorting my purse on a Sunday night, keeping back £5 in change for the coming week and dumping the rest in, no idea what's in there but I do seem to remember putting in some £2 coins.Sealed Pot Challenge #14240 -
It'll be a pleasure to have you with us, Saucer. A warm welcome aboard and to MSE. Have fun saving.
You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through the 1st post as it'll let you know exactly how the challenge works. NB. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much. NB. Pots are emptied on 1st December 2011, thank you.
Don't forget Saucer, however much you've saved already can be included here. By the way, you can start off now and, if you wish, continue right through to next December 1st. It's entirely up to you. Good to see you here.
Lovely to see your name here at last, sparky! I can't fully imagine what it's like at Auschwitz obviously, but from what I believe it to be like and from what you and others have said, it must be quite an experience; as you say..humbling.
Nice to think of your LO and yourselves being reunited shortly.
Sue x

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooo,
Well Miss Lily has dumped all my change into my pot this morning, there was definitely a £2 coin and some silver ones but I didn't get a chance to count it before she robbed me
Oooooo Sue-UU I LOVE LOVE LOVE it when I can see the coinsmakes me feel rich :rotfl:
Have been over the parents today as its my dad's 64th birthday today _party_ I was very MSE, bought him 2 bottles of wine priced at £9.99 each and a box of All Gold chocolates at £7.25 and they were all on half priceplus 10% staff discount, so grand total spent £12.24 :j
When we were leaving after lunch mum gave us half his birthday cake (he had 2!!), a big dollop of trifle and all the sausage rolls/indian bites that were left, so all I have to make DH for his lunch tomorrow is some sandwichesis that taking MSE too far do we think :rotfl:

Hi!
Not been around for ages, the usual, life just takes over.
Pot number 2 is 1/3 full so looking forward to opening them both to see just how much we've saved.
Adding change when it's rattling about in my purse and been finding alot of change in the washing machine recently! Don't think DD is emptying her pockets before clothes go in the basket!

My little pot is getting heavy, nearly dropped it when I picked it up.Sealed Pot Challenge #14240
