Evening all!
Firstly thank you to all of the lovely newbie welcomes Sue-UU, jakes-mum, mumof3plusoh - it's quite amazing that already I feel such a strong support that I know good things are ahead of me now I'm going to be tackling things head on - with gusto! :T:j:beer:
jakes-mum - I love it! :rotfl:Cults, drill sargeants, bring it all on, whatever's necessary!
Saturday is weekly shop day (alas not a NSD) so will be picking up the necessary for the paper mache as well. I've searched around but unfortunately couldn't find any balloons or paste. Actually what is better; glue, flour or paste?
Yesterday's existing little pot count and car rummage turned up £6.89 - it's a start I guess
Have a lovely evening xPalmarosa

Hi Sue! Hi everyone.
OK It's not quite Jan 2012 but I dumped the entire contents of my purse a princely £7.60 into my larger sealed Savings Pot (before I discovered that the Manufacturers of the pots in question decided to downsize the pot to increase their profits, at my expense). Boy oh boy! I had to take out £10 from Mr T on a recent Shopping Trip but at least it's a step in the right direction.
NB Especially to Sue. Thank you for your very caring and wonderfully personal message to welcome me on the Thread.
If truth be told I struggle to do the whole MSE thing, enlist on Challenges etc so hopefully I can do somethings to get me to these important goals.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Be careful what you're agreeing to with jakes-mum, Palmarosa...that's me she's referring to as the drill sargeant!! I'll have her one of these days. BTW £6.89 is most definitely a great start to your pot savings!
You're off to a good start too, JayneTay - well done both of you!
Excellent news, Kerry!
Enjoy the rest of the day folks, not long til the weekend now!

No 89 Checking in - I dont think I have been on here since the start of the thread but the thought of everyone on here potting away kept me motivated with my potting. I just popped on to say that I am going to London for a few days (including Christmas Shopping :rudolf: ) so I have emptied and counted my pot in preparation and have a fantastic £850.00 :j.
I will prepare myself for SPC 5 when I am back
Well done everyone keep potting

I did try begging at the post office for their £2 coins but they wouldnt give them to me  how rude is that?!?! I think the punters must have heard me and thats why they keep chucking their money on the floor, they think im poor

well I have a big fat nothing for the pot today
havent been out so no change, did get my nails done by my very favourite adopted sister (I do so love being her practice person for her qualifications
) so im sporting hand painted flowers today. Hopefully some pennies for the pot tomorrow as its payday for me and I desperately need some cereal, so i'll just have to take cash out
