Hi everyone. I hope you're all taking advantage of the great weather. We went out yesterday, but by heck was it ever HOT!!!! :undecided Slap on the sun screen folks, too risky not to!

You're having a really rough ride school trips etc wise, mumof3plusoh, lets hope it calms down to give you chance to save for the next lot!! :)

BTW happy67 - could you kindly pop your number on your signature please?? Thanks so very much. :D

After I banked the 'leftover'money from last years sealed pot, yesterday i drove to Carmarthen and brought home my lurcher puppy :j :j :j
She is 8wks ,a deerhound/greyhound cross, 14"at the shoulder already and having her is due to this thread :T

All the support and encouragement from Sueuu, Sparkey and the rest of the cheerleaders  I have found it easy on this thread to save x amount each day/week and posting is encouraging. Caz

FANTASTIC NEWS, Caz!!!!! :j :T :j You worked so hard at saving and now your dream has come true and you have her, I'm thrilled to bits for you and wish you both many happy years together!! :D You sound so very chuffed and it's no wonder why, be happy Caz, she will be with you, I've no doubt of that!!! ;) The shasta daisies can be replaced (I hope) but what a moment, keep the camera with you!

sparky, that really is sad that you've had no time for your scooter. I know the money from OT is handy, but I also know how you loved riding her (has to be coz she never let you down ;)) last year. All the best for doing so asap. Love to DW from T & I too, I'll be with you asap.

I know how you feel, e4rub, until we mix with others with similar problems we always feel as though it's only us suffering - not so as you now know. Be happy and look forward to better financial times - they will come! :D

I quite agree, Betsie with your pup/dog walking therapy, we have a 15 month old Labrador who helps too. :)

Sitting in the garden with a cup of tea sounded good, LC2, not like this eejit and hubby roasting on the open, unsheltered Somerset Levels! Cor, that was bally hot, good though.

Don't worry kerrirobberts, a lot of us don't always have cash and rely on strokes of luck or shopping once a week - like me :( 8p's good though! :)

Very well done, scuba...though not SPC practice to leave it so long jakes-mum wouldn't have!!! :rotfl:

Don't you worry, Lost, if jakes-mum had even dropped one (ooops) she'd have had the entire staff on their knees!!! :rotfl::rotfl:Sick it in yer pot along with that £30 you have!!!!

Enjoy the rest of the day folks..and have a beautiful weekend, taken with sun care!
