£1.20 in the pot tonight.

Had not even a penny in my purse for 2 days so couldn't put anything in! Got £20 cash back at Mr S tonight and with a few IOU's to pay, had the grand total of £3 left:mad:

If I get one more letter from the High school my 2 eldest go to asking for more money to pay for something else, I think I will flip!!!!:money:

Thought things would settle down for this month. Over this last week have to find £74 for DD1 and £14 for DS! Over the last 2 weeks had to pay £120 for a weekend outward bounds trip for DS who has started in Y7. He is off this Fri till Sun. Also went on a trip to the zoo the 2nd week there and that cost £14. We are only week 4 into the term!!! Bless him he said he didn't bother picking up the letter to go to France next July for an outward bounds trip as he knew we couldn't afford it at nearly £400!!!

Oh well, could be worse. We are happy and healthy and eat well with a roof over our heads.

Hi sparky, just wondering about you and your scooter - any trips out this summer or haven't you had chance with your OT?

Not had any chance on the scooter this summer, only to the garage for the MoT and a minor repair to the wiring! I do miss not going on the scoot but I just can't say no to the OT, as we've been on single shifts for a long time before all this kicked in, I've managed to make a 40% dent in the debt since July, so I can't complain can I?

Hi all,
After I banked the 'leftover'money from last years sealed pot,yesterday i drove to Carmarthen and brought home my lurcher puppy :j :j :j
She is 8wks ,a deerhound /greyhound cross, 14"at the shoulder already and having her is due to this thread :T

All the support and encouragement from Sueuu, Sparkey and the rest of the cheerleaders :cool: I have found it easy on this thread to save x amount each day/week and posting is encouraging.

She is a dream i never thought would materialise, not named yet, and such a good girl. Slept all the way home, 2 1/2 hrs, slept all night and no puddles this morning.Sorry to witter on...I'm so excited :j

Oh Caz, a new puppy how lovely. I have a 1 year old Border Collie and she has been a fantasctic help over the past year - walking her every day certainly helps you to think things through. Enjoy her!
