Yes you're right Mooloo - Portugal is def on the Atlantic - silly me. Still better weather than dear old Blighty though.:rotfl:
I'm sure you'll have a great time.
Re the exercise - do you have any physio at all. My physio gave me some "homework" exercises to strengthen my back - just simple stretches to improve core flexibility and strength. They work wonders - when I do them regularly that is:o
I agree though you need to take care - don't do anything without checking with your Doctor or Physio first.0 -
I am so p!**ed I typed a huge post and just lost it :mad:
I hope everyone is ok?
I will try again later.

Carmen
Sorry you lost your post.:(
Could be wrong but I think that if you take too long there seems to be some sort of time out thing going on.
I was always losing posts so now I split them into segments so as not to risk it.
Maman said that you could also type it into a Word document and then post. Not tried that yet, I'm afraid I'm not sure how.:o
Anyway glad to know you are still alive and kicking.:D and looking forward to catching up some time.0 -
Pi**ed at 7 o'clock!:eek::eek::T:T:T I thought it was only me that did things like that!!
Back later!
Hic!:D
Well done on your weight loss Maman, only 1.5lbs to getting your lovely bead :j
That towel looks interesting, is it one of those super absorbent ones'?
LL, How on earth did you know I started my post at 10am and hit the submit button at 6pm?:rotfl::rotfl: Mind you, I did go out twice and pottered in the garden between those times
I hope you are feeling better after your stress attack? Not suprising with all you have going onYour sons sound lovely, that is always a bonus. I hope DS2 has a nice time 'darn sarf'
Pod, the 'brillo' gloves are better for me, I can feel the areas I am scrubbing better than if I use a brush. Just make sure to keep them lathered.
Tru, How is the strike going, a gals gotta do what a gals gotta do. I hope you are doing ok?
Bratz, little and often on the hard skin will be better. I like the idea of vaseline, much cheaper. How did the new colours take? Looking forward to seeing the results ;)
Mrs W, I also have a function in Sep so want to step up the regime a bit. I am sure your 'family' will be stunned when they see you walk in :A
Your mention of the cleaning stone reminded me of coral stones:o that I used to use from Asia, for removing hard skin. That was many years ago, thankfully you cannot get them anymore!
Molly, well done on your weight loss. I would love to go the a health spa for some pampering, I love having treatments done (wish I lived near LL :rotfl:) It can be quite expensive in the UK so when I go abroad my first port of call is the beauty salon...heaven.

My make regime has changed very little over the last 40 years:eek:
I just use less of it and no foundation at all now. I mentioned I used to wear Biba foundation in the late 60's/70's no wonder my skin used to erupt, it could not breathe! Moisturiser, kohl/kajal pencil (not black now) on eyes, waterproof mascara and tinted lip gloss. Will highlight cheeks and use lipstick if I go somewhere special.
I have watched you tube maker uppers and I don't think I could/need to get into using so many products on my face. I could be in danger of looking like a drag queen! Not sure who mentioned it but I like the idea of brushing colour onto top corner of eyelid and along bottom lid, I think I need to get some advice about what colours would suit me.

I am going to really pamper my feet this week end
and hopefully apply a bright colour to my toenails:D Last July I injured one of my big toes which resulted in me finally losing the nail earlier this year! Apart from a few mm's it has nearly grown back fully so I am so excited (I know, I'm easily pleased :rotfl:) I can finally where sandals again without feeling self conscience of it. Unfortunately I dropped a can on the same toe a few weeks ago and noticed the moon area turning black  Clumsy yes, big feet no :rotfl::rotfl:
Also need to mention, since losing weight my shoes/sandals fit better, maybe just me?

Going to a different farmers market later, need to stock up on fresh fruit and veg and maybe a croissant with coffee while I watch the world go by.
OK, there is so much more I want write but I need to get some sleep.
Bitsy, Tru, Mooloo, Lizzie, Watty, Skip :hello::hello::hello: sorry to anyone I missed

I have a confession. I am 36 and have NEVER been to a spa or indeed had any Spa treatments
Mindful eating.....well bit and hit BUT I am trying not to panic. This is a long road, no magic bullets here. However H came home at 10pm last night with a large bar of Galaxy for me and I didn't eat any. Mind you I was sitting watching The Happening on Film 4 feeling my old anxiety about keeping my kids safe creeping back (something that started after I had DS) whilst watching plants releasing toxins into the air to which caused people to commit suicide. So eating was the last thing on my mind
Not done any OCM this week, been a bit remiss but didn't have time to get mini spa done whilst kids were in bath as they were in and out pretty quick. Done NO exercise either but I did write out a little reminder for some visualisation to help me. But then again I need 5 mins peace and quiet so what are the chances of that. Can't do it whilst in bed because I just fall asleep LOL
Carmen - I hope you weren't just going to bed at that time  Enjoy your oilsI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
All will be well in the end. If it's not well, it's not the end.Be humble for you are made of earth. Be noble for you are made of stars0 -
Tru, How is the strike going, a gals gotta do what a gals gotta do. I hope you are doing ok?I nearly gave in a couple of times (I can't stand mess and clutter) but I forced myself to make a cuppa and sit in front of the TV instead, lol.
I've never had a spa treatment either, I wouldn't know where my nearest spa is.
I've been deliberately make-up free for two days. I do like wearing it but my face just feels cleaner and fresher without it. Shame it doesn't look great without it though :rotfl: I have really pale skin so I look like death warmed up.
I'm having a scruffy clothes day today, I'm a labourer for my neighbour who's putting our patio down. I'll be getting a good workout, I'll be shifting slabs and buckets of sands for a couple of hours.Bulletproof0
