There was a section where she visited a (male) beekeeper. He explained that the bees in the hive were from a new swarm. She asked him where he got it from and he said "A Lady's Bush".:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I nearly choked on my coffee - thought it was just me being filthy minded and then I noticed that Kirsty, whose face was covered by a beekeepers veil, was sniggering and giggling away. The guy meanwhile wasn't even aware of what he had said.
That little scene alone was worth a years TV licence money.:D
Just saw this - love it,lol!!!
Night all

Congratulations on the loss Willow!!!
Hope you have a great time Maman!lessonlearned wrote: »How on earth do you manage that.:D
Well, when I used to have a 'proper' exercise bike I would put my laptop on a bar stool in front of the bike and lean forward with my arms resting on the bars... now I've got a 'lazy bike' (just the pedals on a frame, so you can sit on any chair/sofa/etc), which makes it a lot easier... and safer, lol!
I've been clothes shopping for the last few days! Over the past couple of years I started to find it a chore, mainly as I'd been putting on weight and thought that nothing looked good on me. I also had the 'I'm not buying anything until I lose some weight' attitude. I've now accepted that it will take me a good while to lose it (will power is not my strong point
), so there's no point in putting a fab wardrobe on hold, as wearing pretty clothes will boost my confidence, and hopefully motivate me to keep going with the diet.
I got a lovely dress in the Dorothy perkins sale, and a pair of ankle boots with a bit of a heel from Tesco. I've also got a new jacket (in black) http://www.very.co.uk/south-tall-mac-coat/914849135.prd?browseToken=%2fb%2f1589%2fq%2fmac%2fr%2f24&trail=1589 and some new heels (not that I needed any) as I have a few parties and nights out coming up http://www.very.co.uk/coleen-sweeny-slingback-platform-shoes/924264220.prd?browseToken=%2fb%2f1665%2fq%2fcolleen&trail=1589-1665 ... Definitely 'taxi' shoes :rotfl:

Have really enjoyed catching up with Vampire Diaries tonight, (sky plus'd from last night - didn't watch it then because it would be later than the time I intended to go to bed so saved it for tonight and enjoyed it even more). Now going up to clean teeth, treat myself to a lover-ly facial and have a nice read in bed before sleep
Will catch up again soon
Nos da all, sweet dreams

That's great! :j Sounds like you are really getting into a 'fab' routineSmall changes like that really do help don't they. I've been on a bit of a health kick lately as I've been feeling really run down, and started to notice a difference almost immediately.

Love the look of your clothes shopping lolly. I've been seriously thinking of those sort of shoes. I thought that maybe with the platforms they wouldn't be too uncomfortable, let us know how you get on with yours.
I've still to decide what to do about this wedding coming up. I may go up to London for a day after half term and look for inspiration. I watched (recorded) Mary Queen of Frocks tonight. It was strange as only last week I saw what they'd done with her range in Guildford House of Fraser. Obviously what they had was very limited and just put on a few rails near the escalator, not a 'shop' at all. And no dedicated staff. In fact no staff at all whereas in other departments staff were very helpful. I may look in at the Oxford Street just out of curiosity.
I watched that Kirsty programme too LL:rotfl:although I was surprised she managed to win a cake competition!
You're sounding so good sparkles, so happy and full of life. :Ton keeping up the running.
Nos da Jenny (and everyone else of course:))0 -

Thanks, Maman.I've got a few pairs like this already, some are comfier than others. I find that the platform really does help, but that the height of the shoes means that they will hurt your feet anyway
. I usually manage 3 hours before the balls of my feet start aching... by 6-7 hours, I'm crippled! My best pair was from New Look a couple of years ago, I could wear them for about 6 hours before I started to ache. I'm going out for a few drinks this weekend so will be able to update you on how these ones fare.
I had a couple of good CS finds today! :T Not been in a CS for ages as I don't tend to browse in town very often, but nipped into one on the way back to the car and found a lovely red F&F wrap style dress for £3.99, and a pair of brand new New Look sequinned heels for £5.99, which will be perfect for Xmas. Not done much pampering, but have kept up with the diet (lost about 2.5 lbs this week), and am feeling more positive as a result, so I am still heading in the right direction.

Good Morning x
Hugs to you all especially Bitsy and Tru x
Glad you had a happy birthday Willow x
I had my injections on Wednesday and feel better for them but still feel down that I have been prevented from having a long-term solution. Im not giving up the fight and will continue to lobby but really wish it wasn't necessary. My GP will write the letter but is not hopeful but we shall see. I have to stop second guessing!!
Anyway - Fabness - I have had my hair cut and coloured and feel much better for it. I have been concentrating on my skin and toenails so feeling positive. I am enjoying wearing my best clothes and have been complimented on how nice I look:T:T:T I am currently doing battle with myself as I would like some new clothes from F@tF@ce. I am going to have a look today and try some of them on - really hope they dont fit and then I wont have to buy them:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Wishing you all well on your respective journeys.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
morning all.
Been kinda fab the last day or two, over and above the usual. I've given myself a french manicure which looks awesome if I do say so myself and have put a henna+indigo mix on my hair as the semi-perm dye had faded and the bleached bits were looking too light. Once it's back to dark brown I'm just going to let it grow natural and not dye.
I haven't seen the colour properly in daylight yet as I only did it last night and it's still dark here but think it's pretty good.
Oh, and I'm off to a burlesque workshop tonight and can't wait! Hoping it improves my confidence etccarpe diem

Glad you had a fantastic birthday Willow
Molly - that's the attitude :T and well done on your compliments
bratz - Oooh do tell us how the workshop goes. Kinda fancy doing something myself but TBH I have more than enough on my plate with tap and my cake decorating class. My ego could definately use a confidence boost. Perhaps I could Youtube something :rotfl:
Just the usual fabbing going on. Not done much exercisebut been busy doing stuff, sewing etc. Must get back to my weekly planner and make the effort there, no point putting it on the schedule to remind me if I am just going to ignore it.
Am hoping now the cat knows how to use the cat flap her nocturnal "visits" to wake me to be let out will cease. She didn't wake me last night so heres hopingNow if I can just get the kids to sleep through uninterrupted I'll be well away to not feeling tired

Good Evening Ladies
Sorry I didn't post yesterday - trouble with tinterweb.
Glad to see you are all doing so well. Belated Happy Birthday Willow - glad you had such a good time. Keep up the good work.;)
Molly - good about the injections - at least you get a bit of relief for a while - keep fighting. Keeping fabbing too - it's nice that you are getting the compliments and positive comments - it's good for the ego.
Lolly - some great bargains there. I've not managed a mooch round the charity shops this week - next week I should have a bit of free time so hopefully I can see what bargains are out there.
Fabwise - a bit mixed. Yesterday went for my physio - she just worked on my neck. Feels a lot easier today - although she did scold me for my posture re my neck. I definitely count my physio as Fabbing - it helps me stop walking like an ape - so it's got to be good.:rotfl::rotfl:
I think it's a bit chicken and egg though. Do I hold my neck wrong because of the pain or is it painful because I hold my neck wrong. Either way it's something I need to work on - apparently I'm in danger of developing a "widow's hump" if I'm not careful:eek:
So defintely need to get back into my exercise groove - plenty of yoga and pilates.. as well as physio "homework".
I am paying for this lot of treatments myself - at £35 a session it's a bit of a stretch - will need about a block of 6 to start with and then hopefully - once a month maintenance. But my reasoning is if it gets my body back into some sort of pain free working order then it's worth every penny.
I know that some people would regard this as extravagance and self indulgent but I see this as in investment in my long term future health and well being.
I'm not rich and I will need to jiggle the budget but at least I can manage to find £200 or so. I feel so sorry for those in real pain who cannot self fund because it seems to be an area in which the NHS either cannot or will not spend money.
