Thankyou for your warm welcome, I really appreciate it.
Maman - slimming world sounds good, I do have all the recent bumf but am finding it hard to put into practice, any tips form someone as svelte as yourself?
Lessonlearned when I read your post I thought you had said your elbow itself had fallen off (was half imagining it on the floor in front of you) :rotfl:
Another day done for me until little one wakes in the night, he has a lot of terrors because of his anxiety, theres little I can do other than hold him tight so he doesnt hurt himself when he is thrashing around.
I know I am very new but I wanted to send hugs to those who need them right now, some days its hard to see the blue sky behind the clouds but its always there, just sometimes takes a bit of time to peep through.
Have a great evening :TDetermined to save, save, save

Well done MrWillow!:rotfl: What a star!
!!!!!!, is there a SW class near you that you could get to? I didn't think I'd take to classes but I've made some good friends there and it's really motivating. I'm doing Extra Easy which is exactly what its says on the tin!;) What is it that you find hard? I've always done meal planning/shopping list so it just meant planning meals that fitted SW programme. I use WW Brown Danish bread as I can have 3 slices a day. I toast it to give it more body then I can have a slice with breakfast and still have a sandwich for lunch. In your pack there should be a sample 7 day menu (and there's one on the SW site) which is good for getting started. There's a SW thread on here which is good. It's all explained in the first post plus there's a recipe thread of tried and tested things. Go and read it and ask as many questions as you like.
Thanks for the sympathy about my back and the advice about taking amitryptaline (sp?). I've managed my dancing class tonight which cheered me up, a few twinges but otherwise ok. Hopefully I'm on the mend.

Still following and wish everyone well on their journey.
I am being thwarted somewhat by my physical condition but yesterday managed to wash/condition my hair and apply a face pack - a fruit one that smells good enough to eat. I am trying very hard to choose my clothes carefully and not live in my joggers which are very comfortable.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
maman - right now I'm knitting a stripey shawl which I can throw round myself in the house instead of turning on the heating! I'm a very new and slow knitter so this is only the....4th thing I've knitted - apart from 2 scarves and leg warmers. But I've a long queue of things I want to knit!
Bitsy Beans - who cares if people think it looks bad as long as you like it! I'm only wearing closed in shoes these days, but when I take my socks off the yellow gives me a wee lift and a smile so that's my excusecarpe diem

Does that mean you've lost loads of weight!:D
Seriously, good to see you back MrsW.
Ha Ha Maman! I wish!!!
not lost much - perhaps a little haven't weighed/measured for a while- but on the upside don't seem to have put any on either:)
thanks for the welcome back ladies and welcome to all the newbies (and lurkers- come out and say hello- you know you want to;))
phew, just about caught up I think, LL as ever you seem to have so much going on and it sounds like things have been pretty hard going- big Hug for you but well done on all the decluttering and keeping the Fab torch burning!
HOpe you all won't mind if I don't comment on each person individually....we would be here FOREVER!!!
so...on topic!
I am in the process of sorting through clothes but this is going to be a mammoth job...we are talking years of major hoarding, however must be done as.....wait for it.....we have WARDROBES!!!! yay only took oh 9mths:o...still don't have my pretty glass door knobs (for those of you that remember) as they are out of stock at the mo but the room is looking sooo much better.
I have had trouble knuckling down to this though, as we got ourselves a new addition in the form of our beautiful kitten NinouFer! she is absolutely adorable, cheeky and really funny- and i can waste hours playing with her ( she currently has a serious gudge match/vendetta going on with some plastic bags:D)- I got quite cross reading polesalot's comments about her neighbour's kitten why do people get pets if they can't be arsed to look after them properly:mad: Ninou is 13wks and there is NO WAY she is going outside til she has had all of her jabs and been microchipped and spayed....
have been trying to get back into fab routines- I've said it before but amazing how fast you loose good habits!- catching up with skincare routine tonight and have been giving my hair some TLC too- doing ok with outfits at work picked up a nice shift dress with a yellow and black flower print (big print) for £7 which has been added to my work wardrobe and I've just been looking out for nice dresses in the sales- have decided I prefer wearing smart dresses at work- I just feel better/more professional etc in them.
I have also been practising with using liquid liner, which I've found really fiddly in the past but for daytime I really like the finer line that I can get with it and I'm getting much better at it- I find it just makes a real difference "opens" my eyes and I think I've now got my "daytime/work" make up look pretty much sorted:D
As for the Drama, well sometimes it can't be helped I suppose, everyone seems to be going through their own rubbish a the mo and I suppose we all have those moments where we just can't deal- I decided the best thing for me to do was step back concentrate on doing what I could to get things straight and then come back- believe me you did not want me and my angry rants on here...my attempts to portray myself as a positve, happy person would have been trashed lol. not to worry though, things are settling and the worst is dealt with...and when it gets too bad I play the "Happy Happy Joy Joy" sketch from Ren & Stimpy
I also in the time I was AWOL had my big family wedding- went really well, met up with some cousins I literally haven't seen for YEARS and got lots of very nice compliments
Biggest one for me though was from my Mum- we met up there as she got a lift down- who told me I was looking 1) Slim 2) had pretty hair 3) Looked really pretty and skin was looking great!!!!!! I was sooooo happy/shocked/slightly freaked out lol! as many of you know I often clash with my Ma over how I look/snidey comments etc so a bit of a change to say the least! She also brought me back some lovely oils to experiment with from her trip to Paris so must definately get back on the OCM routine!
right enough waffle from me for now ( you missed my endless waffles didn't you....go on admit it;):D)
Hope all is well at your end Ladies!

Hello Everyone
Just a quickie today - I'm exhausted and fed up, fed up fed up. Just snapped at OH. I fell asleep for a few minutes and have just woken up feeling like h*ll.
This morning visited 2 care homes belonging to the same group:mad: Just too awful for words. So spent ages trawling through the net again found another to visit tomorrow. Will it ever end??
One of OH's standing frames has broken - again - and I have been pleading with the agency to send someone to help me at night. They promised me two months ago - still nothing. Rang them today. "Oooh can't do it, no staff". No sorry no nothing:mad::mad::mad:
Will interview another agency tomorrow.
Sorry for the rant - but you can see why I'm so frustrated and utterly fed up with everything. Don't mention the paperwork.:rotfl:
I look a  and I feel 90.
Anyway that's off my chest.:rotfl:
Tomorrow is another, hopefully better, day.
Mrs W your kitten sounds wonderful. Unfortunately I'm allergic to cats but would love a little furry creature around the house. I wept buckets when the last hamster died.:o
One day I might get myself a dog - I nearly did from a rescue centre but felt I couldn't cope with OH and everything else. In the end my sister took him - so I sort of have an interest in him. His name is Max and he is just so adorable. He worships my sister and follows her around - even when she goes to the loo.:rotfl:
Since she's come home from hospital he will not leave her side for a moment but snuggles up to her the moment she sits down. They know don't they when you need comforting.
Anyway sorry for the rant - it helped:) Better than screaming at poor old OH.
On a positive note - my eating is back under control (sort of) - not perfect - but at least better than it was last week. I'll be happy to just stay the same this week.
BTW - meant to say yesterday went to a M&S Food Only Outlet in a retail park near us. I was astonished.
I always thought M&S whilst admittedly gorgeous food would be rather expensive. Not a bit - they were cheaper than Sainsbury's on quite a few items. Coffee, speciality breads, lovely cakes etc and their meat was about the same but obviously very good quality. Who'd have known??
Off to cook dinner, no exercise today but did manage 2kms on bike yesterday so not all bad.
Hope you are all well.
Bye for now x0 -
Guess who has a Kinect?
Will be buying Your shape fitness evolved so I can use that when I'm at OH's and use the Wii Fit at home.

Morning :hello:
Filed feet, moisturised face and body, smooth legs, conditioned hair, spray of perfume - all now effortless. Well, not exactly effortless, but now just a normal part of my routine and I do them without thinking.
Exercise - I need to remind myself to do it.
Food - I'm not going to talk about that :silenced: And as for chocolate - :silenced::silenced::silenced::silenced::silenced::silenced::silenced::silenced::silenced::silenced::silenced::silenced::silenced::silenced:
Business - not actually sold much this year. I've bought quite a lot of supplies, so far my profit for this tax year is actually minusBut the ideas are flying out of my head and on to paper, just need to start making them now. A lot of it is Christmassy, I won't be able to get it ready for this year so I'm looking ahead to next year.
I think this challenge has helped to clear my head, I've decluttered a lot of stuff from my brainThe 'creative section' must have been overtaken by rubbish, it now has room to work. So Frugal Frump is going to get the credit for increasing my income
