I just think girls are better off not knowing all that about him, be he doesn't agree. I'm a disgrace apparently:mad: (an effing one at that;))
I've been so soft on him, not now...not after yelling down the phone so dd2 could hear:mad:
Good for you, you can't let him get away with things. He has a cheek shouting at you after the way he has been. Make sure you get every penny you are entitled too. I am sure the kids see what he is like. Good luckNo you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

In Morocco there's only one mosque that non muslims are allowed into, which is in Casablanca. I didnt make it there but its meant to be very pretty, and though casablanca itself is a bit rough around the edges its not quite the dump people make it out to be. If you're only out for a day or two, I would recommend taking a bus out to the coast - Essouara will be packed this time of year but is lovely fun, and my personal favorite is the beach town that Moroccans themselves go to, in El Jadida where people are friendly and not swamped by foreigners.
Any of the other imperial cities (Fez, Meknez, Rabat) can be a good stop to get yourselves lost in the souks, and I particularly loved the stunning roman ruins near Meknez. All easily (if uncomfortably) accessible by public transport.
Though Marrakesh and Fez can be overwhelming with all the hustling types, once you get out you'll find loads of lovely people who are eager for a chat - I was traveling alone and could hardly take a bus ride without the person next to me taking me out for lunch or tea afterwards. Fabulous place - a sense of humour will get you far with the good 'uns, and a firm no thank you will get rid of (most) anyone being too annoying on their sales pitches.
No idea on the Atlas, but I imagine if you found a town that could serve as a base you could easily get out on public transport.
Have a fantastic time!
And definetly make your next trip to Uganda! I will buy you several 75 p beers as a welcome
I spent a week in Marrakesh earlier this year - just reading this wants to make me go back, loved the place - culture, people!
Starting to think - might need to go back!!At least the fish fingers are still frozen, that's what I keep telling myself (Truly Madly Deeply)0 -

Thanks Perni and to everyone else, just being uber sensitive today!
we have been together near on a year - which I know is not very long and I've been in longer relationships but this one is different, we spoke about marriage and kids and stuff early on in the relationship and I personally have never been happier and want everything we spoke about to come true. He on the other hand hardly mentions it anymore although he doesn tell me everyday that he loves me so I know it's not that. I guess I would like to move the relationship on but he's obviously not ready for that which is fair enough. I guess I am also at the age where people I know are getting married and having kids and stuff so probably a little bit jealous...
Gotta be debt free before all that stuff can happen anyway
:A love and hugs to my besties
xxx
Aww I wouldn't worry, it's still early & you both have plenty of time for things to progress to that, if you've already talked about it that's a good sign! Just think, when he does propose it'll be a lovely surprise
Glad you sorted that Next account out too, I am tempted to close mine actually as I never use it! I only opened it to order a xmas present online last year lol.Nottoobadyet wrote: »Jealous jealous jealous!

Thanks for the fantastic advice, between you & DNMS I have learnt so much more then google can tell me! I will definitely be checking out the buses then to get us out & about, plenty of great sounding places to go & see. I wish we were going longer than 5 nights as it sounds like there's more to see & do than I thought there was!
I will have to work on my firm no thank you (Thanks DNMS for the translation, looks like it's gonna come in handy!), ah I'm even more excited then I was before now!
September can't come quick enough.
Hehe when I am debt free I may just take you up on that

Essouara - this is the town I couldn't think what it was called! or how to pronounce it even! we stayed in a beautful riad for a couple of pounds
we caught the bus up to Quassazat (SP???) on the edge of the Sahara & drove up through the Atlas mountains, which were stunning - but a terrifying experieince!
La (no) shokram (thank you) got me a long way with the hard sell...
Thanks so much for your advice too DNMS, looks like the Atlas mountains should stay on the cards then
Why was it terrifying??
Essouara sounds lovely too, oh how to plan fitting all this in!
