What a day already.
I heard back from payrise question - it's a no - apparently being paid too much anyway but they will consider me for a bonus next time one comes round - so will be looking for a new job soonish as I feel I am worth more than answering phones and taking the flack for stuff that is nothing to do with me...
The BF said he isn't thinking about marriage any time soon so that's nice. Felt like a kick in the stomach
Feel like my life is stuck on pause and not quite good enough.
Anyway!! Enough of me!!!
Ziggy, your little one sounds like me when I was little - I hated missing school - I loved it!!
Hello everyone - right now you are all my bestest friends and I don't know where I'd be without venting on here
Today I will be:
Keeping my chin up
Looking for jobs
Watching the Apprentice
Looking for Banoffee pie recipes (because the BF's house mate used to make it for him and I feel second best)
Keeping an eye on eBay
a cuddle with my kitten
Much love and stuff!
xxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0 -
Pixie - Your girls will appreciate how much you have done for them, especially when they get older. I had a dad like that and I realised what an idiot he was and it made me closer to my mum

Hey all,
Today I have:
Checked bank
Opened Isa and put wedding cash in so I can't spend it
Went on Facebook
Checked jobs
Replied to emails

I will:
Prepare for interview this afternoon
Pop to my mums on the way back
Ring my nan
Watch WR
More job applying and comps
Sorry I haven't been on lately been stressed looking for jobs and also stressed as been waiting for my OU results for two courses, driving me loopy how long they are taking and it seems I have a crap tutor for my present module.

Thanks cat - I hope that's right:o I'm sure my eldest (14) thinks I'm over the top, but my youngest knows what I mean (she's 12). Basically, he was broadcasting photos and status updates on FB about his new girlfriend (as of 2 weeks), girls had no idea...2nd girlsfriend in a few months. I just think girls are better off not knowing all that about him, be he doesn't agree. I'm a disgrace apparently:mad: (an effing one at that;))
I've been so soft on him, not now...not after yelling down the phone so dd2 could hear:mad:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

:wave:hi everyone! I have been around ziggy but was away for 4 days & not really up to much small stuff in the week leading up to our break. But I have been reading & missing you all! x Glad to hear your little one is on the mend ziggy - my dd was the complete opposite!
cat how exciting re the interview - I'm keeping everything crossed for you!
La E thanks for the start & any news re Mr E & the job yet?
rdchick ((((hugs)))) don't despair lovely, you're clearly having one of those weeks and things ebb & flow with this clearing the debts malarky, keep your chin up you'll be in for a turn in how you're feeling any moment now! I've been with my oh for 3 1/2 years & there's no sign of a proposal (no matter how many hints I give him :rotfl:- and you'd have to be deaf, dumb & blind to miss them!) I think it can be for so many reasons - my oh can't stand the thought of standing up in front of a load of people, we'll probably do it later in life if at all, but I know we're 100% committed to each other so its ok. (and for the record you're all my bezzies too :A)
pix soz to hear about the ex-files woes - its always baffled me how my ex's managed to hide the fact that they are massive losers during the relationship but then on the other side feel free to advertise it from the roof top! you know what they say "it is better to have loved & lost, than to live with the psycho the rest of your life!"
love to the rest of you lovelies!
My small list as I have had some dental under sedation so need to rest for the day. I should be being looked after but oh needs to go to work

do July budget projector
work out what we spent while away & who owes what

Hi again everyone
Hugs (((rdchick))) Sorry to hear you're having one of those weeks.
Definitely good to get it out of your system and vent to us.
TBH, I saw my mates a few weeks ago and I've realised that every time I meet up with them I find it more and more difficult to talk to them about t'important things…
We still have a great time when we meet up but I think it's a case of me slowly realising that we have less and less in common than we used to. Kinda hard/sad to think about really but I think the great thing about being on here is that you are free to post about what is important to you and finding out what is truly important to each other surely makes great friendships
Oh DNMS!! You'll never guess!! His would-be-boss just turned up at my desk to ask for a chat!!! Basically saying he doesn't want my OH to think he's being messed around but 'things are changing' so he hasn't been able to confirm anything formally… Turns out that someone else has handed in his notice so he will have 2 vacancies soon but this other new vacancy hasn't been confirmed so he can't say whether he's got the job yet cos officially there is still only 1 vacancy and 2 candidates! :j but eek to the waiting game!
Hope you feel better soon. Dentists = necessary evil sometimes!!
Oooh lunch break, how I love you! Off to enjoy it. My kindle is waiting
