I am really pleased with my Ocado order that came on Saturday evening - the driver was early and very nice - explained the substitutions (no extra cost for those), the bags and as it turned out he knew my friend who was with me at the time from primary school (lol), he gave us a bit of a discount :D

    Great experience!

Just wanted to add quickly that, after all the fuss over them cancelling the voucher, I was very concerned- I'd managed to place my order by 23rd for today but hadn't done a 'proper' shop and knew I needed to amend it.

when you log on to Ocado to edit it gives you a warning that you will lose the voucher. I thought I'd edit anyway, see what it came to and go from there.

As it was, after checking out a second time, with my amendments, the voucher remains! And it shows on the confirmation email too!

So, if you did manage to book one by 23rd but was worried about editing, give it a go. So far so good for me.

Hmm, wondering wether to give this a go now.

I ordered mine on the 23rd and it is due Wednesday, but I was thinking of changing the order...however after reading all the negative posts, I resigned to just keep what I had ordered. Now I am torn lol x

Well, I tried to get hold of them via twitter but it was late last night and I had til 20 past midnight to change my order so couldn't really wait. I thought I'd see what the final check out was and if it hadn't deducted the voucher then just cancel it...

As it was, the £20 off showed on the balance the whole time which should be the best indicator if its working- if it's *not* showing in the balance, just close the page without checking out and your order should stand as it is.

I had put some stupid things in (like the 2 for £6 Green and Black ice cream!) so figured the £20 would be wasted if I went ahead with the order as it was so... took a risk. But confirmation email definitely reflects the £20 still in!

  • I have made an amendment also and the voucher code is still there after checking out. It would be good to hear from anyone who has amended and had a delivery, mine isnt until thursday.

Me think you should be alright. I got my orders delivered right on time Saturday 25th 9pm sharp all accounted for bar 1 run out of stock so they deducted it from my bill instead of paying £23ish I only paid £18ish for 19 items.:j

  • Hi all,

For those that are concerned they've lost 'new customer status' we've had this confirmation from Ocado:

[FONT=&quot]A customer will be a 'new customer' until they have completed a shop with us, so even if someone has registered, until they complete their first checkout they will still be entitled to use 'new customer' offers, however long the gap between registration and first shop.

    Hope that helps
