If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0

You've done mains and desserts and now sweets so now it should be starter?
You've got a stick blender so I'd recommend a nice vegetable soup - but I know you like a challenge, so, after Christmas, how about a nice fish chowder?

I've done mushroom soup with my own hand-picked mushrooms. :cool:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

There're only 8 coz it's hard work rolling them into balls. Very sticky, although this time I wore sandwich bags so it wasn't so bad.
Mr BE you little star! They look perfect (and yummy, please can I have one)! Ignore the 'minor' Turkish Delight blip, frankly that recipe looked rubbish, so conisdering that you did a remarkably good job!Although I'd be interested to know how your Turkish Miserys came out this morning?

Damn! Missed the Turkish espisode. Sorry, had to go and see MIL (there's a rumour it's Christmas, you see :rudolf: )
Truffles look GREAT!
Your Turkish Disgust looked horribly familiar - I think I have made something similar, in the past. I had forgotten all about it, but seeing the jelly substance that resulted from your efforts brought it all back.............:rotfl: (Honest! I promise I wasn't holding out on you!)
All the best cooks have to have a failure sometimes...:oEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Just caught up with this thread :rotfl: - I think Mr BE should have his own cookery program on telly with TL, AB and JM all chipping in - I'd tune in
. The Turkish Delight didn't look so delightful  but the truffles came out great. Well done :T :T
Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0
