Regarding the xbox - if you already have a Wii then why not give the kids a choice between the two. Then you can sell one and use the money to buy more games/controllers for the other.

If there was going to be a free listing weekend, they would put it on the announcement page. Nothing on there. Sod's law says it will be next week.

I hope so. I will carry on listing as I am up to 25 items. Las time I listed 50 items so I am going to try and beat that this time.

I just feel like I am not adding anything to my total.:D

Confession time, Im a Big fan of Gaming, we have 2 PS3'S and im totally hooked on Black Ops ( :o im 35 ) lol, which is why my first thought was to keep it but, I would agree that Xbox / ps3 are aimed more at teenagers and adults, and games are pricey, so not really suited for a 6 year old

I do quite like gaming myself, I try not to play too often as I can easily get obsessed!!! I'm very tempted to keep it as I know I'll use it, but I also know how much time I'll spend playing on it when I should be doing other things!

Good idea, I think we will do that if we keep it (definitely leaning towards keeping it!). I think it will be the DS that goes though - I don't think that DS1 is too fussed either way (he just wants something new!), but I love the wii so it's not going anywhere!

Thinking about it, I've been gradually sneaking DS games onto eBay for months as they never get played, so this is probably a good way of getting DS1 to give it up

Made a whole extra £1 today. Ebay total profits so far is £7, after selling three games and two DVDs. It's paypal that sucks all the profits - cos if you sell something for £1, paypal will take 30p of that. Grrrrr...

Can anybody recommend suppliers of padded envelopes? The cheapest I've found so far is 5 for £1 from Poundland, which are big enough to post a DVD or a game.

I used to swipe them from work, but I haven't yet found where they store them since I started this new job ;o)

For now, I've added the extra £60 discounted from my gas/elec bill, but I might remove it later if I get any other money coming in.

The surveys are coming along OK, but I'm not yet anywhere near a threshold for a payout. The toluna points have started coming in slowly, but I'm still only 1/4 of the way towards getting a voucher.

I've been offered a £20 incentive from NatWest for me to set up some direct debits or standing orders. If I set up two by the end of august then they'll apparently credit my account with £20 in September. I'm tempted, even though I'd prefer to keep my DDs with First Direct - but I guess it only has to be temporary...

I have 68p to add to my total after selling something on eBay on behalf of my sister. She got the £55 and I got the change! pssh! Still she's my sister can hardly charge her a real fee!

Listed nine items of my own last night so hope the money starts rolling in from them too. I use turbo lister so hoping to get a whole bunch lined up for seven day auctions ready for upload on Sunday too.
