The roadkill chat has just reminded me... DS1 'found' 5p on the CS desk in Tesco yesterday - they very kindly let him have it :D. I told him to put it in his money box, but he told me to keep it and treat myself to something nice with it as I'd just bought him something, lol.

Well I've sent them a message back saying pretty much the same thing. I did state that any issues needed to be raised BEFORE bidding at least three times in the description. I've also told them that the items had 6 other watchers so if I don't receive payment within the 7 days then it will go to second chance offers. I'm moving back home at the minute and I don't really want to be carting the books with me on the train...they're all heavy text/lab books. The point of putting them on a 3 day auction was to get shot of them quickly!

Have you heard/received anything from the buyer? I'm assuming they will have gone by now.

I am really struggling this month. Stuff on ebay dosn't seem to be selling and none of my survey sites are near payout. But on a happier note we had our own home grown potatoes and peas for tea.
Well done to all of you that are doing so well.

Really pleased, I thought I'd made nothing today, but just checked my bank account, which I hadn't done for a few days, and had been paid 4p interest and £11.23 tax rebate. Happy days!

Not a penny for me today, hoping for some survey dosh to roll in the account tonight.

On another note, I thought I had 10 days off from students(which I was REALLY looking forward to) but the school rang me asking if I could have some students on sunday-only 2 days after my current students go :( All I could think was...'think of the £10 a day challenge...' !!! :D

Oh no...she still somehow found time to send me a message. Basically a page long rant about how "insulted" she felt about me telling her that she should have e-mailed me before bidding (as stated in the item description) and that the item would go to second chance offers after 5 days (also stated in the item description) because as she puts it: "I'm only paying a week and a half late...it's not like I'm not paying at all".
Had she sent me a message asking if it was okay before bidding I probably would have been able to sort something out but she e-mailed me after when there's not much I can do about it and then told me I should change my item description to allow for circumstances such as the one she's found herself in.
