Well today has been a great day for money making :money:

I saved £2.30 using my NUS card. I got a dress, two tops, and a pair of swimming shorts for DS2, all for £20.70!

I also found an extra £40.20 in my bank account this morning from Child Benefit. It is a back payment from the time between DS2 moving in, and me becoming his legal guardian (he is technically my nephew, but as I'm going to be his guardian for the next 17+ years I think DS2 is more appropriate than DN1, lol)
I was told that we wouldn't be paid the money as he was receiving maintenance payments from Social Services, so it is a lovely surprise, and is not a usual payment, so I'm adding it.

I also got a free XBox 360 through the post today!
I was buying a contract phone last month and managed to find the same contract I wanted with a better phone, a free XBox, and £5 cashback! :money:
They said that the £5 will hit may account on 5th Aug so it will be a nice start for next month.
I've been wondering what to do with the XBox, as although it would be nice to have one, we don't really need one (already got a Wii and DS). I was considering putting it on eBay but knew that if DS1 saw it we would have to keep it! Of course, it turns up at 7.45am this morning just as the kids are waking up!
I told DS1 that we don't need it as we already have enough games consoles, he replied, 'well sell the DS then so we can keep the XBox'.
    :undecided Hmmm.

I'll figure it out later, although we'll probably end up keeping it, in which case I'll not add anything. If I do sell it'll be 100% profit - lovely! :)

Nice extra to have if you were having the phone contract anyway!

Could you put it away and save it for a christmas prezzie? :money:

The Xbox is a tough one. You're only going to need additional controllers and more games and stuff so it'll end up costing you money to keep it!!

If the kids are getting older though they'll begin to enjoy an Xbox much more. You could always keep all three and see which one gets pushed out...? Of course you'll get more eBay moneyz selling the Xbox as new now...
