They never use the letter checker just ask me

tell them you want them to see if it will go through the letter checker. If it does, they can charge you for a large letter.

I keep checking in on this thread even though I refuse to start early and I'm starting to get concerned. I see people racking up £100 already and this thread's only been live for a few days and I'm thinking, how much money have I made since this thread went live? Can't really think of any.

Well, I wanted the motivation to make the extra money and it looks like I'm gonna need to shove the rocket up my backside myself to meet that ambitious £20 a day target :/ Roll on Friday!!

You can always do the weighing/measuring yourself and put your own stamps on - then all you have to do is put them in the mail sack, bypassing the post office counter.

I've decided to include multibuy savings that arise from stockpiling non-consumables. For example, I bought 10 packs of Tesco nappies because they were on offer with a £1.17 discount. I would have bought them eventually anyway, and I'm not going to use them up any faster because I bought them in bulk. Therefore, I'm adding £22.31 to my total.

I just worry about people being charged extra at the other end.:(
