I'm a newbie and would like to sign up for £5 a day please, so £150 for my month total. Have some ebaying to do and a car boot to motivate myself for and have just started to make cards to sell at work/to friends.

Thanks and good luck everyone x

Wait, better make mine £20 a day please. I get extra pay for being on-call and that money will count towards the challenge and that would make up most of my total. Nice thing to have but not much of a challenge! So that's £620 for the month.

Also can I have a rules clarification please?
Am I being mega-strict (i.e. post-tax earnings for my on-call money, eBay income minus fees and postage costs) or easy maths (pre-tax money, eBay sale price)....?

MatSS - strict rule, better to claim the money after tax, paid into your account, after ebay fees and paypal fees, post office fees etc

If you claim pre tax, etc, then you are only kidding yourself.

If I earnt £10 on ebay, but after postage and paypal and ebay, I was only left with £7.20, but told myself I had earnt £10, went to pay a bill with £10, I would find myself short! Better to know I have only earnt £7.20 and that is what I have to pay the bill with.

    Hope that makes sense.

Hi MattSS it is post tax pay so best way to work that is once you receive your payslip deduct your normal pay as for ebay people on here I believe go by the profit after selling the item so deducting ebay fees postage and paypal fees.
    Good luck

remembered this morning I haven't added my bonus to my total yet, will have to dig out my payslip to see how much I got, think I will be closer to my target with it.

    Hi
Just posted couple of items on ebay collection only so hopefully they will sell not had much luck with ebay as end up loosing money as charge to little for postage. Anyone know the rules for posting small items as i keep getting charged for small packet yet the item is small enough to class as large letter !
off the mark as transfered £5 from paypal for ebay which forgot to do last month.
