...Well if it is true,I stand corrected...

From the stories, it seems esure's first move in 2010 was to quadruple premiums.

This year, the company has gone further and declared BD2 and BD3 uninsurable.

Maybe Esure don't hold out any great hope that the "continuous insurance" will actually work on uninsured drivers then, or else their timing is really poor.

It won't touch them, they have anything up to 50 cars registered to false addresses and false/alias names.

Entire communities are at it, screwing the kuffar insurance companies and we all know that in Bradford 60% of vehicles are uninsured.
There's a pretty good chance that other major cities will experience the same issues with the insurance in years to come.

It'll be the honest tax payer that gets punished for letting their insurance laps for a day, etc.

If all Insurers pulled out then as Strider says it won't affect the people who perpetrate these frauds. They will simply use relatives, friends and tenanted properties across the North.

The people who it will affect will be the normal Joes in Bradford.

as said they worked out how to beat the cameras long ago, multiple cars, same make, same colour, same plates, insurance on 1 in the name of 99 year old Grandad with 50 years no claims, then they swap the details from area to area, from Birmingham to Leeds, from Leeds to London and so on.
They never ping the anpr cameras so unless they have a crash which they can not flee, they are away scot free.
It is estimated that 1-3 drivers in Bradford are Driving without insurance. This is not the same as driving a car which does not have insurance on it and here lies the loophole and its a damned big one.
The solution is to make it Law to carry a photo driving licence when driving and to stop the silly number plate game, check licences in random checks as they do in America, it takes a couple of minutes and on your way you go, unless you don't have one.

Yes they do, because they flag up multiple reg plates been driven and they get caught.

I wonder if we could have a petition supporting static ANPR cameras ?

It'd just get labelled as "discrimination"..... Can you imagine the headlines when half the country sign it?

We're all skirting around this subject for a reason, the very first time we mention what we really want to say, this thread will go right off topic and probably get "moderated" into the abyss.

But when the Government said "ID cards" the nation went "No way"

    5t.
What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?

Possibly, although I think most of us despise uninsured and scam crash drivers purely because of their criminal conduct.

I don't even want to know their names, let alone their ethnic origin.

Just get 'em nicked, confiscate everything that's not nailed down, and lock 'em up.
