There are some people on MSE with no morals at all and, if you suggest this, you get shot down in flames.

yes karlie but would any of us carry on doing it AFTER having a warning from the police????

It seems the answer is yes. Still I have really enjoyed the promotion and have saved money and been able to eat some lovely expensive things without worrying about price. Also has made me albeit stop completely shopping in my home store and travel 5 miles away as I realised just how rude and disrespectful the staff in my local are. Once I have used my last voucher I am going to write a strong letter to Tesco's Head Office about their attitude.

It was obvious people were going to abuse this from the start. No one at Tesco did the maths. Before you launch a promotion offering DTD you better make damn sure that not one single product in your store is twice the price it is in asda, or you are simply giving it away.

Also, before you accept a home printed piece of paper and give away £20 worth of stock, make sure your staff are clued up as the the procedure for signing receipts.

If Tesco weren't to !!!!!!! stupid then people wouldn't be able to abuse this so much.

I think you are being wound up. Pictures of the loft have been doing the rounds since the promotion went to JTD. No way anyone can rip a store off with DTD vouchers to the tune of £400 in one day. They wont accept vouchers over £20 so you you are telling me some one says they went in 20 times in one store in one day.
Then did another store in the same way.
Absolutely no chance. Not enough time in a day plus they would get questioned eventually and stopped.
Not only could it be done it would be relatively simple.

Can someone briefly explain how the managed to do this please? Use DTD vouchers to buy giftcards? How did they manage so many in a day?
