My van!
I have a 52 plate Citroen Berlingo in good mechanical condition with a few minor dents etc..on the outside. She is mot'ed till Feb 2012 and she is taxed as well. She has recently had a new clutch and is all panelled out. I need to sell her though as I need a bigger van. But I am having no luck at all with it. As soon as people realise I am female thats it....I have been offered £150 quid - doing me a favour there apparently...I have been told its practically worthless cos its a 52 plate ..........no good these vans when they get to 5 years old!!! I just want to sell it. So what can I do? I would like to get at least £1000 for it....Is this reasonable? The clutch and other parts cost me 400 not so long ago. Where would be the best place to sell it? Ebay I fear I will have more of the same...Really just unsure what to do but I have to sell it to get the new one!!! Can anybody hel[p me please? Thank you

Have a Quick look on Ebay at what they're making.... They're making far more than £150:rotfl:I've been looking at HDI Enterprise ones with a Side Loader so I've seen a few recently.
Yours unless its a complete dog of a thing Would easily make £1k plus.
My Old T reg Berlingo 1.9D Sold for £650 and that had 205k on it..0 -

You're being taken for a ride.
Ebay it, anything from£750 to £20000 -
It's also worth stating what the van has previously been used for transporting cakes and food (not stereotyping in any way there), the interior will be in much better nick than someone collecting garden waste or building materials.0

Thank you everybody x Overall condition is really good, she has a few small pings and dents but nothing major. There is just under 89000 miles on her. Her mot was fine and like I said she has just had a fair bit of work on her including the new clutch. Interior wise she is clean and tidy but not immaculate and the back is all panelled out too. The garage said she was in great condition for a van and reckoned putting her on about £1500 but I dont want to rip anybody off. I have never sold a van or car before so I am a bit stumped here.0

She has been used for delivering flowers since I have had her0

I've driven a Vengabus and i'd say you're doing well with the £150 offer......
but yeah, eBay is probably your best bet. You can't rip people off by putting it on for £1500, if somebody thinks it's worth that and wants to pay it then it's their decision. You're not forcing anybody to buy it.0 -

I'd state flower delivery on the sales spiel, that way prospective purchasers know the van has not been knocked around on the inside, nor anything that needs major fumigating.0

Is it old, old shape? The Berlingo had a face lift in 2001/2.The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0
