I tried the cha cha tint today. It looks scary and orange but like the other tints does blend nicely. Would look fab with a tan this summer!

  • I went into House Of Fraser to get mine and had the most ridiculous experience! I went yesterday only to be told the girl was on her lunchbreak and no-one else could help me.

So I came back today and went to the Benefit counter and the girl told me that I actually had to stay for a make-up trial in order to get my freebie. I looked again at the coupon and said hang on a minute, it doesn't say that anywhere. She was really snotty and said oh my boss has said that we can't give them away unless you have a make up trial. The cheek - I bet Grazia have no idea about this!

Anyway she was doing someone else's trial at the time so I had to extend my lunchbreak from work to hang around for 15 minutes as she told me to come back after she had finished dealing with her client. When I came back 15 minutes later she told me actually she wanted to go on her lunchbreak, couldn't be bothered to do the make up trial and just gave me the freebie anyway.

What a waste of time! Oh well...at least I got my set in the end.

Popped into the nearest Benefit counter to me and there was none left :( Really disappointed because I really really wanted one. There isn't another store near me :(

If anyone is kind enough to have a spare one or can even pick one up for me at their local I will forward on the cost of the magazine and a small thank you! If anyone would like to then please pm me :(

Lol! I had the opposite when I got mine from Boots: the assistant told me it "came with a free makeover" and then proceeded to get out the diary, I am never free to hang around for more then 2 minutes (at the time was already in a bit of a rush) so not even sure I'll keep the booking, -though this isn't for avoiding the hard sell, I've had so many "make-over" freebies before that I don't blink an eye at saying "no ta, but thanks for inviting me to the makeover", ladies this one should be easy, they invited you remember, there should be no pressure on your part to buy anything. If a friend invited you to her party, would you expect her to land you with a bill for the drinks afterwards? Its your time, its your make-over "gift", only buy if you really want to.

A friend went into the Benefit stand alone store and was given the product, assistant didn't even take the form until she reminded her! No pressure to have a make-over and the store was completely emtpy at the time! She seemed happy though, in and out and actually left her feeling more postative about the brand then otherwise. Maybe other stores can learn from this!

None in Edinburgh by the looks of it :( None in House Of Fraser on princes Street, none in boots or Debenhams on Princes Street, None in debenhams in Ocean Terminal.

If anyone knows of any anywhere in Edinburgh, please let me know.
